2 doubts about Chaska meter working??

I have some doubts regarding chaska meter ranking..

1) How is view points calculated in Chaska meter ranking?? What constitutes 'views'??

2) While hitting the CM (the rating button) , is it counted only after a fresh login. That is whether we should login, hit the chaska mater, log out and repeat the same for the votes to be counted??

Any help would be appreciated..
