In a career spanning three years, Arjun Kapoor, who made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with Ishaqzaade, has starred in six films. But he has often been in the news for reasons besides his movies.
Not too long ago, rumours were rife that Arjun was dating his Tevar co-star Sonakshi Sinha. In fact, this year, he was also linkedup with Jacqueline Fernandez.
The 30-year-old, who never shies away from the attention he gets from girls, says things are different from what they seem. "I am a regular guy, and it would be wrong to say I don't enjoy it (getting attention). But, there's a lot of speculation about me. The reality doesn't come out. I am like any other guy when it comes to relationships," says Arjun.
Commenting on the reports that suggest that Sonakshi and Arjun have moved on after their break-up, Arjun says, "She was a co-star and a friend, and I have known her since we were kids. That's how it has always been between us. There's been a lot of speculation (about us being in a relationship), which went left and right, and tomorrow it will go in another direction.
We have not given people any reason to believe (anything about our relationship) any which way." Arjun, who has recently finished shooting for R Balki's next, is excited about his small-screen debut.
He will host an upcoming TV reality show. Ask him if acting in television shows also interests him, and the actor says, "I am not thinking about that. Hosting will be fun, as it's easier to be myself in front of the camera. In a film, you get a lot of support to play a character and you get time. But on TV, fiction is about making episode after episode. I don't think I am equipped to do that, but I never say never."
