Hi Guys
I am back with another two cases... these two are again important cases since both the cases brought tears in our eyes for being so human... Not everyday, we get to see such incidents but when they happen they not only shatter us but also raises several questions in front of us. We are living in a small world where we all are bound by one relation called humanity. The first case reaffirms this relation while, the second case is the crude reality of this country. While, the bloopers of Bomb Blast case, made us laugh and criticize heavily the CVs, we cannot deny from the fact that many times, when such blasts happen in reality, we find, that the security agencies were already warned by the intelligence agencies, yet, no step was taken. Many times, we find that the police really fails to come at the last hour... so in spite of all those bloopers, the case was really important.
From the legal point of view, how much standing both the cases had, lets see that...

Green Corridor : Though, there is no official law, but over the last few years, policing has been redefined in our country. Besides more effective crime busting, the law system and the police have been sensitized to the needs of the society. And thanks to the new breed of police officers like Khurana of Reporters who wear their heart on their sleeves, they are contributing in a huge way towards saving lives. The same was witnessed in the LPG Blast Case, where a child was provided a Green Corridor with the joint efforts of Miss. Kashyap and her EIC boyfriend along with the support of the staff of KKN and Delhi Police. Green Corridor is actually building up a situation in which, a particular individual/ an organization will not be detained at any point and at any level, under any circumstances, by any authority, what so ever, while his commutation. We keep on reading such news in the newspapers where in case of vital organs transplant, such as heart, brain, kidney, liver, etc., a green corridor was created in two cities, which means, the related parties were not detained anywhere and were given priority at every level. Same situation was created for Raju, the victim of LPG Blast Case. In this case, what was noteworthy, that we could see Khalid and Kabir talking to Commissioner of Police and Khurana, respectively, which means that without the support of police and presence of legal provisions, Green corridor could not have been created.

Bomb Blast Case: The case that brought tears into our eyes and told us about the undying love of Kabir for Ananya, was one of the most important and relevant cases of this season. This case covered the most sensitive issue which we all are dealing with, the issue of terrorism. In this case, Ananya being made a human bomb and terrorists planning for a bomb blast in Delhi gave us a fair picture of the mindset of terrorists and the gravity of the situation. Under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act 1987, all these clauses are covered and the punishment is indeed severe. No wonder, we found the terrorists preferring to suicide rather than getting arrested, which happens even in reality.

Means a lot when such appreciation gets showered. Whatever I am posting here, that is an idea suggested by my friend Sharada. I have little bit of knowledge of law since, many years back, I completed my law degree but since, didnt pursue my career in that, it was out of my mind... but thankfully, with the help of this series, I am able to brush up a little I studied. thanks a tonnn!!! Please keep on commenting... it really works as a huge motivation!!!

Hi Shaily, I am so sorry, but i haven't been visiting the forum as frequently as I used to do earlier, so kind of missing out on posting replies in a timely manner. But, when I do make my way here, I enjoy reading your write-ups. Hats off to the amount of effort you are putting into sharing your thoughts on the legal aspects of all the cases. Appreciate it!

It is unfortunate that our legal system does not cover some of the important aspects of our day-to-day life. I mean, the Right to live is your fundamental life. But, there is no law that covers the fact that all the options to allow a person need to be provided to the individual. Green corridor is possible because of synchronized effort by the police, doctors, media and the common man. I was very happy with the way this case was handled on the show, as they didn't show it as some kind of breaking news, but focused more on the various emotions of the people involved. The focus was on the anxious mother, the equally anxious Ananya who was directly involved, and then the calm and competent folks at KKN..everyone did their bit.

I agree with all that you said for the bomb blast case. That is all so true. What I liked most over and above all that is how they showed how important it is for each and every citizen to vigilant, as that could help prevent a tragedy and save many lives.
