DD, Ayesha and locket!!!

Yesterday's DD - Ayesha scene made me confused.. According to Shabby, Shiv left her mother and Ayesha when Ayesha was 2 or 3 yrs old😕 Then how does she remember the locket and the things he said😕😕 This Ayesha - Shiv story is entirely confusing, either the writers forgot what they have written or there is more to it
