the way he lied that they didn't said about money wht is he hiding from family even that man risking ishan's life he don't care of his grandson

Like ES said, he probably doesn't have the money to pay up. Considering how famous the Sarna's are, the kidnappers would have most likely asked for a large amount.

i have read lots of stories about local goons demanding huge sum of money from rich ppl. i also read they keep paying them cz they dnt want any trouble. here Sarna ji is in big problem.

My take on this is either he has an embarassing past or he has no money like some Gurleen suggested. Also Manohar's character is that of an autocrat. He thinks he knows it all and can fix things without his family's help. Why do I feel he has a past? He doesn't display any sort of affection for his wife...pulls her down at every occasion..insults her...so think he might have a mistress tucked in somewhere.
