knowing each other is not a big deal... but acting as if they donot know each other is what people are pointing it out..

KMR neither claim that they don't know each other nor they say that they are best friends. They have never commented on this topic at all. I have never heard Keith claim that he had no idea about Mandan's existence nor have I heard him claim that he knows her well. It's funny how a conclusion is reached when the concerned party has not commented on it. EVER. What is acting as if they don't know each other mean? Even if you are an acquaintance you can't claim to know that person in a personal capacity. Sushant is yet to prove that KMR are best friends. It is different to share house with someone 24*7, it's monumentally different than being a colleague (this is an assumption, I haven't come across any such thing).

It would have been fair to criticise someone had that person done something. It is immature to drag or pull someone down by labelling him/her as schemer or a cheat without any evidence. 👎🏼
