KARACHI: The rumour mill has been high on grist that Kareena Kapoor Khan is soon to appear in our very own Shoaib Mansoor's next film. On the differing news making the rounds, Shoaib told The Express Tribune he'd like to remain mum for now.

"I wouldn't like to comment or elaborate on these rumours for now," said the director of Bol fame, clarifying that he has "not spoken to any publication" regarding the status of and casting for his upcoming movie. But a close friend of the Khuda Kay Liye helmsman confirmed the news about him having approached Kareena for the stint. "As far as I know, he has only pitched the movie to her so far," said the source.

Conjecture brewed after Kareena expressed her admiration for Shoaib's works, which was followed by news that the filmmaker has approached the Bollywood star for an upcoming project. Numerous Indian publications have reported conflicting statements, even stating that Kareena met Shoaib in Dubai for a formal script narration.

"Although Kareena has verbally accepted the offer, she wants to hear the script. After that, she will sign the deal," DNA India quoted a source as saying. "For a while now, she has been keeping an eye out for projects that will allow her to push the envelope and [she] believes that Shoaib's story is one of them."

But Subhash k Jha outright said that Shoab denies approaching Kareena and that she's lobbying for the film. Liar!

He made Kareena sound desperate in his article. And made everything out to be so one sided.
And the Pakistani sources are actually more balanced.
Dawn and Express both claimed that Kareena was reading the script and will make a decision too: where's Subhash K Jha basically implied that Kareena keeps writing to Shoab wanting to work with him and there's no response from the other side nor offer.

Could be a lie. SK Jha is a bahurani PR. Could be trying to discredit Kareena to make bahurani happy.

But Aish isn't even affiliated with the project in any way. Why would that make her happy?

Rivalry? Jealousy? Ash goes around claiming every film of every director was/is offered to her. She will next issue articles that Mansoor offered the movie to her FIRST.
