i just finished watching tanhaiyan naye silsilay.

i havent heard anyone talk about it.

its a very light drama with a little comedy.

it stars alishba yousuf, shehreyaar munawwar, syra yousuf and shehroz sabzwaari. in the supporting roles marina khan, asif raza mir and behroz and a few more characters sorry i dont know their real names, they are a part of it. its a light family drama of just 13 episodes.

i loved it.

although alishba is the lead as zenia i liked syras character more.

she plays a bubbly sarrinah who always smiles.

she is playing the character of zenias sister.

theres no love triangle. both the pairs are just awesome..!

its actually the sequel of the drama tanhaiyan. it was aired on PTV somewhere in 1990s i guess.. soo now this sequel shows that the heroine of the prequel has 2 daughters zenia and sarrinah and how they fill the void of their tanhai.

if u wanna read about the old drama just go on wikipedia u will find the plot. i suggest to read that before u watch the sequel because that will help in understanding a few points. although they have repeated it ke aesa hua aesa hua like syra keeps telling alishba but still if u will read it it will be better..!

and do watch this one. it was really goood!!

Does anyone have any dramas of Maya Ali in a negative role? If not in a negative role, then at least in a role where she isn't the bechaari girl of the series. I loved how in DeD how mouthy Farah was to her cousins and stuff and didn't like how she ended becoming bechaari because of her mom. I like headstrong girls. 😊

Wali farah...um i have heard maya playef negative roles in some dramas i have not watched them...others can help... But did u watch mera naam yousuf hai ? She had strong character there..u will like it...also watch aunn zara

Meri Zindagi Hai Tu.. I don't know if she was negative per se but I know she caused a lot of problems

She was pretty headstrong in Dur E Shawar, Khoya Khoya Chand, Shanakht, and from what I remember Zid {I've seen bits of Zid and KKC)

This is my first post here but I keep peeping in every now and then to check out what is the latest in the Pakistani drama land...I am surprised no one is talking about 'Mere Ajnabi'...Its coming along to be quite an interesting and decent drama...
