Deepika Padukone never asked Shah Rukh Khan to push Diwales release

The actress would never do that, reports suggest!

We told you how a senior journalist in his column mentioned about a call between Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan. Apparently, the actress placed a call to the actor who orchestrated her grand entry in Bollywood with his film Om Shanti Om, to push Dilwales release date so that Bajirao Mastani gets a clear window. Now, they both have been friends since OSO and they have done other films together too. So, it is only obvious to think that Deepika might have called up SRK with this request. But according to reports, that call never happened!

Rumours were abuzz that when Deepika lovingly asked him to shift the release date of Dilwale forBajirao Mastani, this how the whole conversation culminated. "It's my biggest release, na..." she apparently cooed to the actor, who is believed to have smartly retorted that he'd happily oblige if she was willing to make the same request to him on Twitter or in the press: "Just say We're scared to come on the same day, so please shift your release,' and I will." He isn't a smart superstar for nothing!

Now if reports are anything to go by, Deepika reportedly never made that infamous call to SRK. She may be very close to the superstar but she will never dare to ask him to push his film forward. She respects him as his senior and also as a man who launched her in the industry. She would never do such a thing. Well, this is almost believable since Deepika does feel a lot of respect and love for her mentor which she has expressed in public a lot of time.
