dulaari is somehow cruel to dhaani ... she always makes her feel she deserves to live only this miserable life of a widow in ashram for her entire life and feels so dignified in doing it :P ... she also starts beating her at the drop of a hat ... agree dulaari is from regressive background, still as a mother (if so) cannot justify her for what she has turned dhaani to just for undergoing some of the rituals of marriage(since dhaani's marriage had nothing else) ,she more looks like a mil deriving pleasure in making her innocent dil follow the cruel widow customs religiously :P ..
may be dhaani is an orphan 🤔
and more than possible vidha equation and the consequences she looks more scared of how viplav's progressive thoughts might make dhaani to break the shackles she has tied on her till now.. 🤔

on the whole dulaari can better turn to a vamp so that viplav don't have to keep convincing this irritating woman for getting dhaani 😎
since dhaani's past has not yet unfolded it could still bring any surprise😎... i know many justify dulaari but this is just my take 😈...

jas you maybe right for thinking this way, but sometimes fear of society does make some people worst enemies to their loved ones. the two sets of parents will pose strong opposition in ViDha love story , it will be hard to convince Dulaari that Dhani can restart her life over.

Good point Jas.. As there are many mysteries revolving around each character.. At sometimes I too felt either she is her real mother or is there any story despite her rude mask.. How one can control emotions of other? I'm really waiting for transition from Dulari side too with the help of Viplav..

it is not about vidha love story ... it is about how she is to dhaani in general , whatever dhaani is now was not her choice she is not emotionally connected to her first husband it is only due to dulaari's influence on her ... unlike raj lakshmi and suwarna who don't have any family to support them dhaani has dulaari who is her family to support her ,still she is also living the same life as rl and suwarna only... from whatever background she is, a mother would always be the first person to consider her daughter as flawless and has all the rights to live like others but dulaari seems to be an exception ...
even kanak as shalu's mother is far better than dulaari as dhaani's mother...

Perhaps Dhulari is scared of losing her only anchor. So far both mother and daughter have been there for each other. If Dhani remarries and leaves the ashram, Dhulari will have to fend on her own. Perhaps the thought of being isolated bothers her? This is just my assumption. Or Dhulari is worried about the repercussions of this relationship. How would she know the intentions of vipplav? Yes we know he is good and wants dhani to have a better life. But as a mother she will be scared of dhani's reputation. What if this relationship does not culminate in marriage? That is an even worse situation. Just my two cents.

I didn't have problem with Dulari's behaviour till yesterday coz no one would let a young man live among young widows.. But today Dulari's behaviour was openly rude. She curtly said to Viplav not to worry about Dhani coz she knows to protect herself. But what's disturbing is when the moment needed for someone's help to save Dhani, in spite of Police involvement Dulari pleaded to Viplav to save her daughter. In fact she was the one who recommended to consider Viplav for the Ashram case coz he would work for them without fees. Isn't this double standards? When she wants Viplav has to be there to help and when she fears for her daughter's reputation she doesn't like Viplav sticking around. Reading the new spoilers feelings bad for ViDha, especially Dhani she being a young girl would love to explore many such things like a good friendship but with Dulari around she is scared to step towards any kind of happiness... After lot of struggle ViDha have become friends, hope it isn't short lived

well maybe or maybe not...she is just an overprotective mother IMO...
