Ragini and Swara are half sisters (same father, different mothers).

Ragini's father (shekhar)cheated swara's mom(shomi) and marry another women. but shomi was pregnant with swara. ragini's mother died. when swara knew shekhar is her father she joined with ragini and they unite shomi and shekhar. Maheshwari family bring alliance of laksh for ragini. but as ragini was a simple girl he didn't like her. he fall for swara. but ragini loved him. after knowing laksh loves swara ragini became evil. sanskar was laksh's cousin. his loved one died 5 years ago. sanskar thinks laksh and his father was the reason for kavitha's death ( sanskar's lover) so sanskar want to take revenge. sanskar and ragini join hands and they make mms of swara and laksh. they made swara love laksh. they drugged swara and spoil her image.
