The Bachchans are ridiculous releasing a PR article about (self-proclaimed) "bollywood princess" Navya complete with personal pictures of her mom watching her dress fitting.
Debut balls are so regressive and an embarrassment for women. These young girls are paraded in front of rich families and potential suitors to show them a new arrival is on the market now. It's not just a regular party with her chilling with her friends so I don't know why people are acting like it is.
It's even worse because this is not an Indian tradition to begin with but wannabe Indians are always trying to follow anything rich white people do.
