Hello guys!!! i have been dealing with this situation and see no solution, so asking for help and your advice. My best friend got married (arranged) but i get this feeling that his wife does not like me at all. She has this stupid rule that she will not talk to her friends and he should also not talk to his friends when they are together - so basically evenings and weekends and holidays. So we can only talk, if possible only when we are in the office. I don't like snooping around. I mean its not exactly snooping around as she know we talk, but still i find it very weird. I miss talking to my best friend. We share a really good rapport but now we cannot talk. I mean i understand that now that he is married we cannot talk whenever we want. But i don't like or understand that i cannot call him or he cannot call me atleast sometimes. I have been to their house as well and they have come to mine as well, but still his wife is nice only on the surface and never friendly nor does she try to be, even though i have tried hundred of time to extend my friendly hand towards her.

What should i do? I am going through a rough patch in my life and don't want to loose my friend as i recently have lost one really good friend.

Please help!!!

I understand that u don't wana lose your friend but also u have to respect his feelings. If he loves his wife to such an extend that hes willing to hide around the place and meet his friends, then theres noting u can do unless he ask for help.

I can surely tell u one thing! it sounds as if his wife is insecure. just be careful.

Aww i feel for you a lot, as its hard not being able to talk to someone that is close to you. Been through this myself, All i can say is that as long as that they know that you are theit for them no matter what as a good friend, thats very Important.

Its very stpid this rule. Talk to your friend, explain things how you see them. Like how you have done here. if you just tell the truth, you can't loose this friend also, if you are best friends, also.

Just before you make any kind of comment to how you feel say to ur friend, u dont mean to be rude, on interfer or anything, just giving ur advice, he doesnt have to take it of course but jst let him now that u miss being able to talk to him. That u dont want to lose a friend, but his wife cant tell him not to talk to his friends, what kind of a relationship is that...I mean they are married, you arent goin to take him away from her, lolsssss.....they can talk 24/7 too, why does he have to spend all his ime with her when he is not working. Suggest maybe to Socialise a bit more....his wife can come too 😉 maybe she wil have fun, lolsss

I dont know really hard situation. I have been through something similar, and all i can say is it will be ok after a while, the person should realise yout true friendship in their life.

All the best,

Love Saira.
