Finished my weekend binge watching and am loving the serial now. There is almost a movie like feel to the show- the sets, the clothes -all that phulkari, the cinematography, the hero beating the villain to pulpš
Suhe veh cheere walaya mein kehndi han-as long as they keep on playing music like this, inke sau khoon maaf hone wale hain.
BTW In the credits they still mention -based on a short story by R.S. Bedi- looking forward to the marriage and the beatings
Lajwanti- redeemed herself, liked the forwardness in asking "hum aapke hain koun", was cringing a bit at the desperation as she went running after our hero who left without giving an answerš” but then this impetuousness is what is Lajjo.
Sunderlal- my K.l Saigal ke hairstyle vala hero, dry accountant who is still trying his best to give a measured thought out response to everything ,even the attraction he feels for Lajjo.
Like this contrast between the two.
