Mona got more cedit.....

Than she deserved for jassi. 😛 At times I do feel this....Even after a year and a half Mona still continues on her jassi image.

JJKN became popular not only cause of Jassi but numerous other factors,.The whole star cast the script the direction the marketing everything played a big role or else Im pretty sure it would have failed after a week or two.

I really think Its time Mona got out of her jassi image...Jassi is over..And on JDJ last year i didnt quite like it when she asked for votes as 'jassi'.I know that was her identity but hey that was a dance show .😛

Apu didnt go on Nach baliye and order for votes cause he's everyone's armaan sir...

I dunno why I suddenly felt this..But Mona should be Mona singh not Mona'jassi' singh.....

I didnt follow too much of JDJ last year except the Finale...but this year I feel sony is still promoting Mona as jassi..If Sony is so proud of jassi then they should be promoing more Of Tony and deeya's serials As well...After all they too played a major part~!

I know Jassi became a household name after the serial but so was Armaan 😳 ...but an Actor's real versatility is proved only after he/she tries out variety of roles which Apu did 😳 ...During Armaan Suri days also he created a name for himself through Nach Baliye with his Wife😊 and later of course he did a fantatic job as Dev pratap Singh 😳 and his Nomnation in the Gold Awards proved that he got the same popularity in the role of Dev which he got in the role of Armaasn Sir😳

But the same can't b said about Mona Singh...Even though she won the JDJ contest ,but still people say that Jassi has won it and not Mona and even this year when she is anchoring she keeps on telling stuffs like "when I had my makeover last year,I was like this and that" 😕 which clearly indicates that she is still carrying her Jassi image with her and is still cashing on that image

No doubt Mona is a talented actress👏 and now it high time she create her own individuality by trying out variety of roles and stop herself addressing Jassi all the time 😊

wow Sharmi i think this was your longest post I ever read 😆 and first time it had some serious contents.

The points which u have stated is actually true and after JJKN ended this is the first time I felt that she is being overhyped..no doubt she is an amazing actress but its time that she shud come out of her Jassi hangover 😆 ..
Thankfully i dun have to say the same for my Apurva.. he did prove his versatality by tring out different roles 😊 ..

If SONY is making her do it then they shud start working on JJKN sequel 😃 ..

Its not easy to ERASE an Role/ Image from mind. Look at SRK, we still remember him as Raj and Kajol is adorably remembered as Simran. Smriti Irani is still recognized as TULSI..

However the fact is that in TV it all boils down to Money. Sony has no love lost for Mona Singh or Jassi. They are just using her to suit their benefit. How come they let go off T and D? Like you said its T and D and many others who gave them JJKN.

I truly think I remember Mona as Mona Singh not as Jassi. If you think that she is still trying to ride off Jassi then maybe. I don't see her doing that.

And right now she neither has any movie coming out or any serial . She definitely isn't in any rush here..to get rid of J image like you thin.

And as far as AA is concerned..that was Starplus dear..Honestly I doubt whether Star Plus would have let him.... We have Prachi still being called fav BAHU Bani. Now thats how they are....media.

And you are right if they do get desperate then might come out with a SEQUEL too. I think its all BUSINESS and MONEY..nothing else.

Totally agree Anu. AA couldn't cash in on JJKN as much as MS. Only if SONY had promoted both of them as a couple then this wouln't have been the case. But unfortunately the STORY was about JASSI not about Armaan. Hence MS was in the LIMELIGHT thanks to her being the JASSI.

In JDJ I wanted SS to win her being the better dancer...but MS won.

Now that i think about it , I think that Mona doesn't come in any other serial coz she probably wants to keep her jassi image! But for how long????? 😆

Really I think she should come over it and actually do something else! and get another image!
