TOI:Shaleen is TV's New Duryodhan

Shaleen Bhanot is returning to TV after three years. Last seen as the male lead in Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, his latest outing will have him play the negative role of Duryodhan in Suryaputra Karn, which also marks his debut in the mythological genre. He says, "It's fascinating to do something that involves swords, armour and horses. Duryodhan is a challenging character with multiple shades." The actor, who injured his shoulder in an accident two weeks ago, is shooting strenuous action sequences on the show. "Apart from other scenes, I was lifted 11 feet up on a harness. I have been taking injections to ease my pain," he says.
