hi swasti.. saw your post last night but was busy , I wanted to read it.. its a great acknowledgement of Mishal's diverse style of acting.. I think , it also depends on the actor to be clear of exactly what he is she is looking for? Mishal knew which areas of his acting skills he wanted to explore when he did Aakash ,Dutta and now VIplav..he was quite vocal about his boredom in a particular role after a while..and as such cried for a change. That is what I think adds freshness to him as an actor.. Mishal knows when to stop in a given role.. which can be difficult for an actor especially when the programme was doing so well.. yes it broke my heart when he decided to call it a day as Dutta.. however for me its his once in a life time role.. with Viplav.. he brings in some light , crisp and happy moments.. in Viplav 's acting ,I can safely say ,its family viewing.. which to me was not the case in his role as Dutta.. yes I read the last section of your post.. fear that the present role in IKRS offers him enough stimulation to maintain his committed interest.. but till then all I can say , as his devout fan like many others, its been a long wait to have him back on my screen daily every night 6 days a week.. thanks Mishal god bless you for giving us much joy.. incidentally ,I always preferred to see him in a weekly serial rather than a movie..
thanks swasti.. love hammie
