What is amazing about the charisma of Mr. Bachchan is that ever since he displaced the original Superstar of Bollywood Rajesh Khanna in the mid 70's since then he has remained at the peak and continues to command stardom.
Remember he also overpowered top actors like thespian Dilip Kumar, Thalaiva Rajinikanth and Kamal Hasaan when he was unanimously voted as Star of Millennium'!

Amazingly when the Khan Trio is supposed to be ruling tinsel town, a recent survey conducted by a leading national daily has revealed that it is not the Khan Trio that is regarded as the biggest icon of the youth but instead it is the old horse' Amiatbh Bachchan, who is still the beloved' of the youth and the ultimate SHAHENSHAH of Bollywood!
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan outscored the Khan trio by winning the Top position in the renowned Youth Survey 2015 list of Hindustan Times Newspaper.
According to reports Amitabh Bachchan received 23.3% votes almost 5% more than the current heartthrob of Bollywood Shah Rukh, who stood second in the list with 18.6% votes.
Interestingly PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO star Salman Khan lost the second position by a little margin of mere 0.6% as he came third with 18%.
However what is surprising is that Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, was left far behind with just 10.4% at fourth position. The fifth position was occupied by Ranbir Kapoor with 6.1%.
The others included in the Top 10 youth icon list were Vidya Balan (5.1%); Deepika Padukone (4.8%) ; Irrfan Khan (3.7%) ; AR Rehman (2.8%) and Katrina Kaif (2.5%)
