Part 7

" So you say that you will not accept this marriage, isn't it Miss Payal Gupta?" asked Arnav, in a serious and dangerous tone as his dam of patience has broken, as the very thought of separating from Khushi tormented him endlessly.

" Yes, Mr.Raizada. I will not accept this relationship which you just named as marriage. And me being the guardian of Khushi, I have all the rights to take decisions on her behalf." Payal stated dauntlessly even after Akash innumerable tries to stop her from speaking.

" Even if Khushi wants this marriage, you will not accept it, Miss Payal?" questioned Arnav as he slipped his hands into his pockets while a no-nonsense look appeared on his face, which hinted to Akash that Arnav was surely upto something.

" Khushi will never accept this marriage. I know my Khushi. She will never marry without telling me owing to the fact that she always shared each and every thing with me. Then how can she hide such a big thing such as love or marriage from me?" cross-questioned Payal, much to the annoyance of Arnav, who was trying hard to control himself because Payal was extremely close to Khushi and he didn't want to hurt anyone close to her, without a reason.

" Khushi will accept her marriage with me, Miss Gupta. After all, she knows where her place is. Her place is beside her husband, that is me, Arnav Singh Raizada and in his thoughts, his dreams and in his world." proclaimed Arnav, in a voice which dripped with intensity of his passion for Khushi.

On the other hand, Payal could sense that he was really serious about this marriage with her sister. The intensity, the obsession, the passion which was visible in his eyes was scaring her but she chose to feign strength in front of Arnav as she was also scared that Arnav could hurt Khushi in the blinding passion which he possessed for her.

" What if she doesn't?" Payal managed to open up her fears in front of him so that she could hope for the best and prepare for the worst which she can think of.

" I don't need to think on that lines, Miss Gupta. Because I already know my WIFE's answer. She WILL accept this marriage." Arnav knew how to make Khushi accept this marriage, and being the shrewd business man that he was, he knew that he couldn't disclose the reason behind his confidence.

Before Payal could question him again, the doctor came out of Khushi's room, who was soon questioned by Arnav about Khushi's health.

" How is my wife, doctor?"

" Mr.Raizada, she has regained her consciousness and you may meet her. Since the possible reason of her fainting is stress, I insist that only one person moves to meet Mrs.Raizada at this moment." explained the doctor, while Arnav curtly nodded at him and moved towards the door without even a moment of thought, leaving Payal and Akash bewildered about his behavior.

Akash somewhere felt that Arnav would force Khushi to accept this marriage by threatening her with something she values a lot. But her optimism asked him to shut the negative thoughts out and he always listened to it. He just hoped that whatever it was, Khushi should be happy. It doesn't matter how she gets that happiness, for Akash.

But will she get it?

Khushi's Room,

Khushi's eyes were glistening with tears as the events which occurred before she passed out, flashed in front of her.

He married her by smearing his blood on her partition?
How could he?
He didn't even find it necessary to take my permission to do it?
And he claims to love me?

Questions were many but she had answers for none of them. Warm tears, filled with pain of her flowed down her cheeks as she shut her eyes in a try to erase the souvenirs of the heart-wrenching incident, which changed her outlook for life and even her life forever.

A cold hand erased the tears which flowed down for her eyes, which resulted in those windows to her heart to open in shock, revealing the person who was the sole reason behind those salty drops of water to drop from her eyes.

" Tears in your eyes should be of joy and ecstasy not of pain, Khushi." remarked Arnav, as he eyed at her with intense passion, which made her turn her gaze away from him, as he, his presence, his touch and his everything reminded her of an incident, which he named as their marriage.

" Why are you here, Mr.Raizada?" asked Khushi, who had gained courage to question him of his future plans and his intentions to be here.

" My wife is not feeling well and is in hospital. Obviously I will be beside her, Khushi." explained Arnav, trying to show to Khushi how serious he was about this marriage to her. Also he was trying to make Khushi remember about their marriage every moment so that she doesn't forget that she was now tied to him.

" I don't accept that marriage, SIR. It happened without my consent. Just smearing one's blood on a girl's partition doesn't result in marriages." snapped Khushi, much to Arnav's shock, while Khushi though somewhere had accepted this marriage but the image he had of Arnav Singh Raizada, had scared her enough to not accept that marriage.

" You will have to accept this marriage, Khushi! Or else your sister and a brother like, brother-in-law will suffer in my hands. I hope you know what I can do. If you don't then listen, If I want something I will get it by hook or by crook. The means don't matter to me. And for you I can kill myself, kill people who will stop me from making you mine or kill people just for you." articulated Arnav, while Khushi's heart started beating faster in fear while sweat poured out of her temples. Tears of fear filled in her eyes, while she was unable to decide whether to sacrifice her life to save her near and dear ones or sacrifice them in a hope to escape from this monster infront of her, who claimed to be her husband.

Arnav had said what he wished to and he knew that Khushi was sacrificing enough to forget her wishes to make her sister's and brother-in-law's life easier. Sparing a final parting glance at Khushi, Arnav left the room and a sobbing Khushi who was left wondering with the games which destiny chose to play with her.

Soon as Arnav walked out of the room, Payal and Akash walked in after taking permission from the doctor, if they could meet her, both at once, to which the doctor agreed.

" Khushi!! How are you? And what is Mr.Raizada saying? You are married? That too, to a gangster and ruthless person like him?" interrogated Payal, while Akash held her hand signing her to stop shooting questions as Khushi was still not well.

" Yeah, Jiji. I am sorry that I couldn't inform you about this before. What Arnav Ji is saying is perfectly true. We both are married and now I am his wife. " answered Khushi, while her voice choked with the amount of pain she was undergoing by lying to her mother-like sister and thinking of the future.

The ground underneath Akash's and Payal's feet was snatched as the words spoken by Khushi fell on their ears and the realization struck them. But Akash had noticed something which Payal hasn't. The pain which Khushi's eyes held and the tears glistening in them. But before Akash could speak, Payal had taken her hasty decision.

" You have let me down, Khushi. You have really let me down. You went on to marry that gangster without even informing me? Or maybe I was wrong to think that my sister was still a child. Thanks a lot for making me realize how wrong I was. You are grownup Khushi. Go, and live with your husband. After all, that is your home now and he is your family now." vociferated Payal, as she walked out of the room without thinking that she should give Khushi a chance to speak her heart out.

On the other hand, Akash stood rooted to his spot because he was not the one whose trust depended on the circumstances and situations. He knew that Khushi was hiding something from them and he vowed to find it out, to reduce her pain and fulfill her responsibility.

Her sister disowning her, came like a shock to Khushi who was already in a deep trauma. It was as if Khushi forgot how to blink, but the burning sensation as the salty tears formed forced her eyes shut in pain, while Akash caressed her forehead with affection before he left the room following Payal.

One incident caused by Arnav, had filled Khushi's life with pain and left her heart bleeding. Will he be able to win that heart, bleeding in the pain of his love?
