This is it people! The wait is finally over. India's comic heartthrob Kapil Sharma has at last taken the big jump. Basking in the glory of being the best stand-up comedian in the country, Kapil is now all set to unleash his funny side on the big-screen with his debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon'. In Delhi for the promotion of his film, Kapil was at his wittiest best answering all questions with a pinch of humour. Even before you realise, he would have set you on-board on a laughter trip that you are unlikely to miss.
While everyone wondered why did Kapil came all alone to promote his film, the actor didn't really leave any chance for us to miss his female co-stars. All gung-ho about his debut, he spoke at length for almost over an hour. From his four leading ladies, working with Baazigar director duo Abbas-Mustan to having Bollywood biggies on his show and more, Kapil Sharma shared it all and more. Read on...
So many directors came on your show to promote their films, why didn't any of them spot the acting talent inside you?
They all come on my show to promote their own films and at that time, they are only focused on it. Having said that, they all are my friends. Farah Khan is more like my girlfriend. When we meet each other, possibilities are always there to work sooner or later. As for Abbas-Mustan, they had never come on my show, and I think they were cleverly watching me from outside and maybe that's why they signed me.
Now that you are turning into an actor, should the Khans and the Kapoors pull up their socks?
Nah! Aisa kuch nahi hai. I feel do your work with full honesty and don't be scared of anyone. I am not here to compete with the Khans or the Kapoors. If you are giving your best, that's all that should matter. You don't get into something with the intent of surpassing everyone else. In a week 10 movies might get released, and if all are good, they will work, no matter what.
