Hey guys I am back with chapter 4 &5.
Chapter 4
Arvind enters RM and the first thing he sees is Ananya sleeping with her head pillowed on her arms on the dining table.
Arvind goes near her, smiles and then starts shouting "look at this women. Husband has come late from work and she is sleeping instead of looking after him, will complain to sasu maa(mother in law) in the morning"
Ananya hurriedly wakes up "Ji, when did you arrive, I am so sorry I don't know when I fell asleep, you wait I will heat some food for u"
Ananya hurries towards the kitchen. Arvind smiles seeing her and says softly "bach gaya"(saved)
Ananya stops near the kitchen and turned around "kya kaha aapne. Aap maa ko complain karege.(what did you say, you will complain to my mother) I should be the one complaining. I slept on the chair not on bed while I was waiting for you" she goes near Arvind and pokes him on his chest"
Arvind: ouch Ananya dard hua.(it hurts)
Ananya: Achcha, who told you to come so late. That office has become my freaking souten(the other woman). My husband spends more time there than with his family and you, why did u shout at me, I should be the one shouting"
Arvind (sheepishly): You are shouting ananya.
Ananya: Look at the audacity of this man. First he comes late and on top of that he start's shouting at me. One more time you stay late with my souten I will...i will go to my Maika.(Again poking arvind)
Arvind pulls her close: Ananya darling your mother stays with us so how can you go to your maika. This is your maika as well as your sasuraal. Now hush women I am starving. Won't you feed me.
Ananya: Okay u wait
Ananya and arvind had dinner and retires for the night.
In the morning.
Arvind is getting ready to go to the mandir then the hospital.
Ananya: Ji here is your food. And don't stay late with my sauten again
Ananya thinks he is going to office.
Arvind: Yes ananya. Waise I wanted to tell you something
Ananya: Ji
Arvind: We have a "bring your kids to work day" today at the office, so was thinking of taking Arnav with me.
Ananya: Why only Arnav take my laado also with u na. usne kya paap kiya hai.(what sin did she commit)
Arvind: you know I cannot handle Anjali on my own. She is still small and wants her mother every few hours.
Ananya: okay baba. I'll go and wake up Arnav.
Ananya goes to Arnav's room and gently shaking him awake tells him he has to get ready to go to his father's office today.
Arnav: Wow Maa. I'll get ready quickly. You tell dad to wait for me.
Ananya: Jaisa baap waisa beta. Pata nahi who will marry this guy agar yehi halat rahi to.
What ananya does not know is that today arnav's life is going to change.
Arvind and Arnav are seated in the car. Arvind turns towards Arnav and holds his hand.
Arvind: Arnav today I want you to do something for me.
Arnav: yes dad tell me.
Arvind: u remember Shashi uncle from lucknow.
Arnav: the one with two daughters. One of which always follows me around like a puppy and eats sweets as if it would vanish tomorrow"
Arvind: (sternly) Arnav.
Arnav: yes dad I remember him.
Arvind: He is injured Arnav and we are going to see him today.
Arnav : what the ...but dad u said we will be going to the office
Arvind is frustrated. He does not know how to make a boy of 10 understand that his father wants him to get married. He still tries
Arvind: if I ask you to do something for me Arnav will you do it.
Arnav: yes dad
Arvind: Arnav I want you to get married today.
Arnav : What the...no dad not possible. I don't want wife. She will shout at me like mum shouts at you. She will make me play with her dolls like Anjali does...sorry dad I don't want another girl in my house.
Arvind: She will not stay with us Arnav. She will live with her bua. I promise she will not bother you. Think of your marriage as if u are doing a play in your school. After that I will take you to your favourite museum. (Yes guys...Arnav favourite place is a museum...not some park or gaming zones)
Arnav: Sach dad(really dad). Okay I will do as you say.
Arvind: One more thing Arnav. You will not tell anyone about your marriage. It will be our secret. Not even your mum.
Arnav: but dad.
Arvind: Please Arnav when the time is right you must tell your mother but not before that.
Arnav: okay dad as u wish
Arvind and Arnav reaches the hospital and goes to meet shashi.
Arnav stands outside the room as kids were not allowed in ICU.
Arvind: Shashi how r u my friend
Shashi: I'm okay arvind. But I feel as if my time is coming soon. Have u made wedding preparations.
Arvind (with tears in his eyes): haan shashi the wedding will take in a nearby mandir. I have taken doctors permission you can also come with a nurse. I have also spoken with the panditji.
Shashi: thank you...thank you so much arvind. I will always be indebted to u.
Arvind: chup kar pagal(shut up). Now tell me where is my to be bahu(daughter in law).
Shashi: The nurses have taken her for bath and food. She is to be discharged today.
Arvind: okay ...once khushi come we will leave.
Khushi enters the room dressed in a baby pink frock looking cute and angelic. She was clutching her doll in one hand and a bottle of milk in another.
Arvind: There you are my princess. Come to Arvind uncle.
Arvind picks her up and turns towards shashi "lets go, all the arrangements have been made, arnav is also waiting outside"
The hospital wheeled shashi out followed by arnav khushi and arvind.
And so the baraat left for the temple and with DM blessing the two souls get united. But will their naseeb let them be united.
Was the decision made by Shashi and arvind right? What will be the future of these two souls who were unknowingly bounded together by holy matrimony? Will love bloom in the relationship or will hate reside.
Chapter 5.
Gomti Sadan, Lucknow
Dear Diaryji,
I had the same dream again. Should I inform buaji or should I keep my big mouth shut. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe it's my mind playing tricks. Buaji calls me sanki. Have I actually gone mad? I don't know what to do. Today was Baba and Amma's barsi(death anniversary). I miss my parents u know. I don't remember them much. I know how they look like. I remember my Amma's smile and baba's hugs. I am lucky I at least remember that much. Payal does not even have that memory. Or maybe she is the lucky one as she does not remember anything. Is memory a curse or blessing? I wish you could enlighten me.
Aaj ke liye bas itna hi. Tonight I am going to spend time with my parents...
Shubratri Diaryji.
A girl of 20 dressed in plain white churidaar drags her comforter to the terrace and lies down on the cot, looking at the stars with tears in her eyes.
"Amma, baba, I miss you so much. I miss your love. Why did DM cheat us of your love? Were we not worthy of your love? "
"Titaliya"
Hearing her nickname khushi turns her head. One teary eyes collided with another and with a muffled sob she threw herself in the arms of a middle aged woman.
"Buaji hamse kya paap ho gaya(what sin did I commit). Why did Amma and Baba leave us. I miss them so much buaji"
Buaji caressed khushi's head "aisan nahi kehte titaliya(dont say such things). Your Amma and Baba loves you and payal. They are always looking after you. And anyways am I not like a parent to you and payal. To kaahe ro rahi ho(why are you crying then). Just imagine that your parents are showering their love and blessing on you and payal through me. Now wipe your tears and go and sleep"
Khushi: Buaji, today I will sleep here. You go inside. Shubhratri buaji(Goodnight).
Buaji: shubhratri.

A man with dark brown eyes and a grim smile wakes up sweating." Again the same nightmare. My whole future is uncertain because of one person. Maybe I should go to India. I should have done this two years back. It's time to face my fears"
Arnav gets up from the bed and picking up his phone he dials a number and a sleepy voice answered "hell-lo"
Arnav's scowl became deeper" wake up and tell me how you feel about a change in job location"
The voice on the other end becomes more alert and shouts "is this the way to wake up someone, and its bloody 6 in the morning. Go back to sleep Arnav and we will talk at a reasonable hour"
Arnav: Shut up Aman or I will fire you.
Aman: like hell I will shut up. Go ahead and fire me you hothead idiot and we will see how long my replacement lasts.
Arnav's scowl becomes more pronounced "shut up and hear me Aman"
Aman: okay okay speak up. I am all ears.
Arnav: I am thinking of shifting our company to India. As it is my family is pestering me to go back, also I think it's time to take care of my problem.
Aman: Only you can call a child marriage a problem buddy. Well I don't mind shifting. Let me know what to do.
And the two spends another hour on phone discussing the details.
Delhi
As the sun bathed the big with white mansion with its morning glory, two ladies dressed in sarees could be seen doing the morning aarti near the tulsi plant.
After conducting the aarti and pouring water over the tulsi plant the ladies went inside to start another day thinking it to be the same as always.
But unknown to them DM has finally answered their prayers. And the answer came in the form of telephone's shrill ringing.
Ananya answers the phone" Hello Arnav beta"
Arnav: Maa how do you know it's me?
Ananya: A mother always knows...
Arnav: Maa I have decided to come back to India...
The rest of his words were drowned as ananya starts shouting and crying with joy.
Arnav: Maa Maa...are you okay...answer me dammit...maa.
Nani: Arnav bitwa it seems you have finally managed to shut Ananya's mouth. She is speechless with joy...
Arnav: Erm nani everything is fine right.
Nani: Yes bitwa, you come back quickly.
Arnav: yes nani...bye u take care...
Nani puts the receiver down and hugs Ananya" All your prayers have been answered Ananya. Your bitwa is finally coming home"
Ananya wipes her tears" yes Maa, Finally DM heard my pleas, it's time to prepare for Arnav's homecoming"
Nani interrupted Ananya" Ananya what about..."
"Later Maa" saying this Ananya left.
Nani is troubled and mutters to herself "I don't know what we did was right or not. My only wish is Arnav's happiness. DM please help us"
So what has Nani and Ananya done? Will it affect Arnav and khushi's future?
