Thank's for sharing this information abhay 😃 i'm from jabalpur /mandla

so i know about her 😃 a folk story very famous in local it's a folk story so may be it's true or may be not ,very filmy type story 😉 acroding to story
akbar sent a letter and gift to rani durgawati
letter main likha tha "aurato ke haath me chudiya hi achi lagati hain talwar nahi or apana rajaya hamara adhekar me chalaiya " gift chudiya thi,

rani durgawati ne chudiya luta di or jawab diya " ye aap ke hantho me hi achi lagangi "
akbars ego hurt then he sent his army to capture her kingdom

one more reason akbar attack to gondwana

almost all middle area was rani's kingdom and akbar want to capture south india also so it's important to capture middle area kyunki rasta to middle se hi hokar jaya ga dalpat shah very famous for his bravery after his death all kings want to capture his kingdom but rani durgawati defeat all of them and run his kingdom successfully 😃

Wow Sushma!
Nice to know you are from Jabalput itself.

Thanks for sharing this anecdote. I am not sure about Akbar saying this, but for sure, Asaf Khan was a chauvinist, who wanted to show "Rani Durgavati her place" .
These lines are more apt for Asaf Khan.

You are completely right about her fighting abilities. Records are full of her praises. :)

rani durgawati very beautiful and brave rajput princess she want his husband like her that time raja dalpat sah famouse for her bravery so she impress his bravery and fall love with him but her father not agree for his alliance after some time he agree for her marriage

hamana to love story hi padhi hain 😊

Yes, the folklore also says the same and compares them with Ram and Sita. Radhika's comment was more about the circumstances in which they married. :)
