Here's a beginning: Shah Rukh Khan and Shreyas Talpade Shah Rukh Khan, along with Om Shanti Om co-stars Deepika Padukone, Shreyas Talpade and Arjun Rampal, will soon be walking the ramp for a fashion show displaying costumes worn in the film. Says director Farah Khan, "It's a tie-up with Shopper's Stop. On October 9, Shah Rukh, Deepika and the other stars will walk the ramp at a show at the Grand Hyatt wearing costumes from OSO. Shopper's Stop will also launch an OSO clothesline based on the film's unique look." Brand value Farah informs that two lines will be launched. "One will be a retro line inspired by the vintage costumes, while the other will be a contemporary line. Apart from being affordable, both lines are extremely trendy. Shah Rukh will wear the modern line on the ramp, while Deepika will wear retro outfits from the film. Arjun (Rampal) plays a producer in OSO, so his clothes are formal suits and leather jackets, similar to what Vinod Khanna used to wear back then. Shreyas wears shirts with pop art and stretched fabric!" she says. Farah has got into brand merchandising with OSO in a big way. She says, "Brands like Maybelline have joined in to produce a line of make-up based on Deepika's look (she's also the company's brand ambassador) and Sia for jewellery." Ramp talk Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar and Sanjiv Mulchandani have done the film's look and styling. As for herself, "I won't be sashaying down the ramp, Unless you want me to do the elephant walk!" she jokes, referring to her growing baby bump. Talking about SRK, she says he's walked the ramp only once before for a fashion show in Delhi. "He was shy about doing it, but since it's a professional tie-up he agreed to do it," she says. Govinda Srikhande, CEO, Shopper's Stop says, "Being market leaders and innovators in retail, Shopper's Stop has set many trends in the past. Deepika looks so pretty just like an old time beauty like Hema Malini. Her sharp features remind me of Ash's. Both are Tulu too.

I agree, In SRGMP she was looking very pretty. And i love her walking on the ramp for OSO😳

Walking the ramp is not the easiest thing to do." "But Shah Rukh, you can do it." "I can do it too…." This was the refrain as Shah Rukh Khan walked the runway on Tuesday evening, as a promotional exercise for his forthcoming film, Om Shanti Om. SRK was anything but calm before the final show. Naturally, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Rampal made full use of the opportunity to mentor SRK.

Once on the ramp, sporting retro shirts with optic prints, bell-bottoms and chunky belts, the OSO stars started out with mimicking Rajesh Khanna. While Shreyas was comfortable with his '70s hairstyle, Arjun did not seem too happy with his moustache. Even before he took a bow and left the stage, our shutterbug caught him yanking off his moustache.

Shah Rukh Khan had the women drooling as he took off his jacket. He even did an impromptu jig ala Michael Jackson style, as wife Gauri Khan and her friends Maheep Kapoor, Neelam and Bhavna Pandey cheered him on. Sister Shehnaz was also seated in the front row.

Meet the parents

With Shah Rukh Khan out and about, Karan Johar cannot be far behind. KJo, who has designed Shah Rukh's clothes along with his assistant Shiraz Siddique, came with mommy Hiroo Johar. Prakash Padukone and wife came to cheer daughter Deepika too. Arjun's wife, Mehr Jessia got her parents along too.

Bump-er

All is well between Farah Khan and Sajid Khan. Contrary to reports about their differences, the chubby siblings stuck to each other throughout the evening. Later, when she walked the ramp, Farah was horrified by the animated moves of SRK and Shreyas lest her bump get a blow.

i wasnt interested in oso as much as i was in sanwariyan but after seeing arjun rampals pic, looks like i have to watch it 😉
