Scene 1
The episode begins with our CID team comprising of Daya sir, Freddy sir, Purvi di and Pankaj watching a little boy playing a Playstation game with a man inside a glass-walled room. Hoping that the boy is in a good enough mood, the man asks if he likes being at home. The boy immediately replies that he doesn't and he hates his parents. Outside, Daya sir is surprised that a child dislikes his parents so much. A couple standing nearby say that they brought the boy Rishi here for that very reason. They explain that Rishi is their neighbours' kid and stays at their house the whole day, and his parents call him back with extreme difficulty. The situation got serious that day and so they approached the CID. Daya sir explains that the man with Rishi is a child psychiatrist and can hopefully get him explain everything to them. Inside, the psychiatrist asks Rishi if he can prepare a family sketch of himself with his parents for them. Rishi looks clearly sulky, but agrees.
Scene 2
Rishi prepares the aforementioned sketch, depicting his parents hideously frowning and trying to stab him. When the psychiatrist asks him to explain this, he says his parents don't love him and he'll not go home as they'll kill him. The psychiatrist asks why they'd kill their own son, but Rishi says he's not their son and nobody will understand him, and goes away without explanation. The psychiatrist shows the sketch to the cops and Daya sir is shocked that the parents would want to harm their own child.
Scene 3
The CID comprising of Daya sir, Sachin sir, Shreya, Vansh and Pankaj along with Rishi and the neighbours Jagan and Sarita are seen outside Rishi's house. The locals tell them that Rishi's parents went out a few hours ago. The parents return soon and are overjoyed seeing Rishi, but he remains with Daya sir. Daya sir asks Pankaj to take him aside and questions the parents about the child's behaviour. They say it's all false and someone is provoking him against them. Daya sir reveals that Rishi is indeed their adopted their child and his parents were their relatives who bequeathed all their property to him before dying. The parents insist that they have no interest in the property and love Rishi as their own son. The locals support them. Daya sir agrees to talk to Rishi.
Scene 4
There's a sweet little scene of Daya sir playing football with Rishi. They bond together and Daya sir slowly convinces him to stay with his parents, assuring they'll not harm him. Rishi trusts him and agrees.
Scene 5
We see a little girl skipping in a garden. A lady comes and starts observing her with a smile. The girl greets her and the lady lovingly hands her a chocolate. The girl thanks her and asks her to wait until she eats so they can play, but the lady grows uneasy and asks her to come along with her. Just as they start to leave, the girl's mother turns up and pulls back the protesting girl Esha and angrily accuses the lady of trying to take away her child. A couple Ketan and Mayuri comes along and holds back the lady; Esha's mother accuses her of provoking her daughter against her, and warns them to keep her away. The lady who's Ketan's elder sister starts protesting, but they lead her away. Mayuri says they should get her admitted in an asylum, but Ketan insists she'll stay with them and he'll get her treated.
Scene 6
Freddy sir is seen talking to his wife on phone while the rest of the team listens. Daya sir gets a call that Rishi has gone missing from home.
Scene 7
Our duo, Purvi di and Shreya are seen at Rishi's house where his parents explain that he went out to play and never returned. The father explains that he had tried to keep an eye on Rishi, but gave up as it annoyed him. Sachin sir enters saying Rishi is nowhere to be found, and suspects the parents. Daya sir warns them of dire consequences if Rishi is harmed. Pankaj calls Abhijeet sir informing that 5 more kids are missing from the society.
Scene 8
The team meets the missing kids' parents including Esha's mom, who say that the kids had accompanied Rishi to the grounds and went missing. They blame Rishi's parents and explain that their kids had also started hating and behaving against them, and suspect Rishi of spoiling them. Sachin sir says they should look deeper into the problem instead of blaming a child. The parents recall that all the kids including Rishi started behaving like this about 4-5 days ago after returning from the birthday party of Sonu - the child of Mayuri and Ketan. Pankaj brings the watchman who says he had seen Rishi, Esha and others leaving for the grounds, where some bigger kids also play. Abhijeet sir asks Daya sir to question those kids while he goes to meet Mayuri and Ketan.
Scene 9
We see Rishi, Esha and the other kids happily meeting a lady (unidentified but obviously Ketan's sister) saying they don't want to go home. The lady says she'll not let them go anywhere and gives them toys to play with.
Scene 10
Abhijeet sir and Purvi di meet Ketan and Mayuri, who say they have no idea who's behind the kids' disappearances and Sonu has gone to visit his nani over the weekend. Abhijeet sir expresses that something weird seems to have happened with the children in Sonu's birthday party, and requests for a video CD of the same. At this point Ketan's sister appears at the doorway upstairs. Ketan nervously introduces her and goes to fetch the CD, while Mayuri angrily gestures her to go inside. Our cops obviously get suspicious.
Scene 11
The kids' parents lead Daya sir, Sachin sir, Shreya, Pankaj and others to the ground where we see the bigger kids playing cricket. There's a (nice and relaxing) scene of the cops playing with them and then proceeding to question them about the missing kids. They explain that they had been arguing with the kids as usual regarding the cricket grounds and the latter somehow seemed unusually aggressive. Then they heard the bell of a balloon seller and gave up the argument to rush to him. Daya sir explains that the children are missing. The bigger kids regret their behaviour and request to find them. Daya sir asks Pankaj to send the kids' parents back and decides to find the balloon guy.
Scene 12
We see Abhijeet sir, Freddy sir and Purvi di observing the video CD of Sonu's birthday party in the bureau. They note that all the kids who got kidnapped were holding identical sized and wrapped presents in their hands, quite different from the others in the party. Abhijeet sir implies that this was intentional, and calls Ketan and quizzes him about it. Ketan confirms they had gotten those gifts as they liked them, and they had contained musical toys purchased from one Rainbow gift shop. Abhijeet sir disconnects without revealing more details and calls Daya sir asking to send Pankaj and Shreya to the missing kids' homes to collect these return gifts.
Scene 13
We see Shreya collecting toys from one kids' house and informing the seniors about it, and that Pankaj has went to Rishi's house to get the toy. Pankaj soon turns up jiggling comically listening to the musical toy. Shreya scolds him and tells him to get into the car, and they drive away.
Scene 14
We see Daya sir, Sachin sir and Vansh looking for the balloon guy at various locations.
Scene 15
Shreya and Pankaj enter the bureau and Pankaj is still acting in that weird childish manner. Shreya explains to Abhijeet sir how he's been that way ever since he listened to the musical toy taken from Rishi's home. Meanwhile Pankaj starts trying to "play" with the other cops and creates a ruckus (irritating and unnecessary scene, IMO ). Abhijeet sir concludes there's something sinister in the toy and calls Rishi's parents, and explains that he suspects Rishi was hypnotized. They're shocked and request them to save him. Abhijeet sir disconnects and construes there must be some trigger for the hypnotism. Shreya recalls how the playground kids explained that the children had run after the balloon seller after hearing his bell. Abhijeet sir says they need to get that guy.
Scene 16
Daya sir, Sachin sir and Vansh come across the balloon seller and right then Shreya begins Pankaj there. He starts his antics again until he sets the bell ringing, due to which he turns normal and has no recollection of what happened. Daya sir construes the bell is the trigger which made this happen and questions the balloon seller hard, who says he hadn't went to the society that morning and his neighbour Shamu had taken the bell instead. Daya sir asks him to take them to Shamu.
Scene 17
Freddy sir and Purvi di visit the shop from which the musical toys were purchased, and question the shop owner about it. He claims he's innocent and merely did what the customer had demanded. He explains that a couple had purchased those toys and later a lady had come saying that they didn't like the toys' music and he must install music which she provided in the toys. Purvi di spots a CCTV camera on the wall and they demand for footage of the same. (I'm glad both were portrayed well in this scene. 👍🏼)
Scene 18
Daya sir and team chase and capture Shamu, who confesses that a lady Sudha (Ketan's sister) had paid them to capture the kids. Purvi di calls Daya sir and informs him that Sudha had the toys' music changed in the store. Daya sir demands Shamu where Sudha and the kids are.
Scene 19
We see Sudha running injured though a lonely path and pulling Rishi along. Meanwhile Shamu takes Daya sir and the team to a house where they find all the kids except Rishi; they explain that some masked thugs had stormed the house and tried to hurt Rishi, and they held them off and Sudha aunty took Rishi away to protect him. They add that the thugs were after Rishi only. Daya sir wonders why this is so, and if those guys desire personal revenge.
Scene 20
We see Sudha and Rishi helplessly tied up in a minefield in the centre of a circle of baddies. Their unidentified boss taunts them and holds up a remote to trigger explosions. Just as he's about to kill them, the team arrives and Daya sir shoots him in the leg. The boss starts triggering explosions again and Daya sir selflessly charges into the fray to successfully rescue Sudha and Rishi. The others defeat the baddies in combat and Sachin sir disarms and captures the boss, who turns out to be one of Rishi's neighbours. He says that he did all this as he desired revenge against Rishi's father Rajat due to some petty argument. Sachin sir says the innocent nature is children is so much better as they don't hold malice and grudges, unlike many adults (rightfully said 👏).
The man pleads forgiveness and Pankaj and Vansh take him away. Rishi's parents reunite with their son and he apologizes to them. Ketan and Mayuri come up to Sudha who confesses that she likes kids but as their parents don't let her meet them, she hypnotized them and called them to be with her. Ketan requests them to forgive her as she did it all out of her mental illness. Daya sir says they'll have her treated and leave judgment regarding her fate to the court.
