Hi guys,
I have very poor connectivity from the hotel room I am staying in...so making a short post...Hilton sucks!

When I saw the episode today...I was reminded of a movie I saw a long time back...in which the girl is being forced into a marriage...and when they ask her...Qubool Hei? She lets out a gasp as she has been crying...The moulavi announces the marriage is complete...and off she goes with her husband...RNJ gave me a similar feeling today. He is being set up to scratch his wounds...at every opportunity...it's like he doesn't get a breather...and the painting scene was like a mom pretending that the daughter has cooked food for the suitors family! Gosh how torturous!!

The actual sindoor scene was better than the promo...which was tasteless. Here only Gayatri knows the ritual did not complete...of course not counting the KHOON BHARI MAANG ritual that has already happened...

BTW...if I know anything about Hindu weddings...the main thing that decides if the wedding has completed or not is...the phera, in front of the fire ...the rest is for symbolism...including sindoor, mangalsutra and all...some scholars would even argue that sindoor and mangalsutra were both prathas that started much later...as a way of "marking" the married women...which did not exist in vaidic times...

Oh well, rituals or not ...poor Gayatri was left thinking
HE loves me
HE loves me not!!

I think she will have to pluck many leaves before she will get to the real answer...and Who knows by the time the answer may change ...

Did I say I loved the veil...and the kinar! Kudos to the costume designer!! She looked so beautiful in this attire...RNJ must be really grieving to not be moved by that!!

Overall...interesting! LOVED the dialogue exchange between RJM and Govind Seth! Excellent writing!!

And then there was LR...the loser...with his family...like they say a fruit doesn't fall far from the tree!

So when is Nissar starting? Can't wait for some on screen sizzle! It would be a crime to make Gayatri look so beautiful and have her go unnoticed...😆

Brief thoughts from my side. Will join in the discussion later on.
Sindoor scene was done better...
Gayatri looked thrilled seeing the sindoor on her picture...looks like she has developed a sindoor complex.😆

Ek chutki sindoor ki keemat...😆

Now that Nissar is here, I hope he doesn't do a repeat of ASR on Ranaji...My sincere wish, though I loved ASR. I liked the direction he is going as of now.

It looks like RM has to fight a lonely battle against the whole world up against the big C.

Ved Raj here too...😃

Edited.

Oops! Thought U had finished. Back later.😳

.Yes...of course ...I did finish! No need to apologize Chick!!
Shwets told me Nissar is already on board!! Perhaps the sindoor scene change credit goes to him...!! The promos were not good...!!

And guess what I felt sympathetic to RNJ...that's good!!

Talking about not good...did anyone see that portrait??? Please just photoshop Gayatris picture and make it look like a portrait...if that's the best you can do!!

The man surely has a fascination for jewelry. I mean today's episode emphasized the same old, same old. We get it you're a grieving widower who does not want to marry Gayatri. In a way I admire his faithfulness that is something to admire coming from a King who could have easily moved on. But the CVs really need to move on with the story and focus on depicting a different point. Perhaps make him talk to Gayatri and tell her you are my wife and the Queen of my Kingdom but my heart belongs to someone else. I have said this I wouldn't mind Gayatri living in a Paro type situation. As I have said her husband never disrespected her even if he didn't respect or give her any affection.

Lakshraj is such a loser. Does he really even want to be King? Or is he just being manipulated by his parents? Their forcing him into becoming something he is not. You can tell he just follows his parents orders blindly. Not that I feel an iota of sympathy towards him. He is responsible for what he did. He has no right to ask expect forgiveness from Saroj. But than again should we feel bad for Saroj? He too was ready to kill someone. But he did it out of love? Like Chachaji said they are all playing the game of Rajneeti. Anyone can be after anyone? There is no such things like relationships in Rajneeti. Hmm...

Great post Sush! Great Collages Di!!

Just popped in to say hi and love your posts (as usual). I have nothing profound to say other than the scene where Ranaji unveils the portrait didn't work for me. He looked like a petulant child. Yes, I'm sure he didn't have it painted but can't u fake it better? Lol
