I didn't even think about that... but, whatever the reason, the family surely knows that Dhruv didn't let this marriage happen deliberately? Everyone was talking about Bihaan betraying them etc... I thought it was obvious that's why I was taken aback by Thapki stating that she lost her trust in Dhruv due to this - as if he had let Bihaan marry her.
I think everyone, including Thapki, knows that it wasn't Dhruv's fault, that he did not let it happen purposely. Thapki's dreams shattered, she was broken and with her, her belief that Dhruv would always protect her, broke as well- hence, she lost her faith in marriage and in Dhruv. She lashed out.
I think it was unfair of her to lash out at Dhruv like this, but looking at things from her perspective, it was a way to vent out her pain. Somehow, I doubt that CVs will focus on the little detail of Bihaan hitting Dhruv- but it seems as if the family already understands that something drastic must have happened that Bihaan was able to marry Thapki.
Let's see how this whole Vasu-truth unfolds.

I didn't know about the interview.
I assumed that Thapki was too angry and frustrated to wonder how exactly Bihaan was able to marry her and that it wasn't just her trust in Dhruv that broke but her faith in everything. On the other hand, when she talked to Dhruv it sounded to me like this: to her, it didn't matter what the reason for Dhruv's absence during the marriage rituals was. What mattered was that Dhruv made promises to never let her hand go and to never let anything wrong happen to her, and those promises were broken and alongside it all the encouraging words her father had ever said to her seemed wrong, all of a sudden- everything just crashed down.
Does that make sense? Those were my observations that Thapki wasn't focusing on reasons but on the fact that things happened.
Therefore, I doubt that CVs will focus on the hitting part - but I could be wrong 😊
