Hawaai Jahaz Par Maut Ka Keher
Scene: Open ground
2 guys in black are waiting for a third guy in black who arrives in style in a car. The third guy (the boss) tells the other two guys that within 2 days if his task is not completed he'll face a loss of 50cr rupees. The 2 guys assure the boss that the task will be completed the next day and say that 'this guy' (showing a pic) is going to be their pawn. The boss takes the picture and looks at it. It's none other than Daya's pic. The boss burns the pic. 😡
Scene : Airport
Daya is about to board a flight from Bangkok to Mumbai. He gets a call from Abhijeet and they have a chat. Daya tells him he'll be back to work the next day. A lady watches him. 😉
There's a little brawl between a convict being taken to Mumbai and another passenger. Daya settles it by almost wringing the convict's neck 😲 (no need to be so violent IMO 😒).
The lady, Devika who was watching the scene tries to make friends with him. Daya tells her he's from CID.
The cop who was supposed to accompany the convict arrives and scolds his asssitant for not preventing the brawl.
Soon the hear the boarding call.
Scene : Inside the flight
Daya sits down and finds that Devika is in the adjacent seat. There's a free wifi announcement in the background. Devika goes on blah blah (Daya almost dozes off) and then leaves for the washroom. Daya gets a message asking him to come to seat no 32B if he wishes the plane and its passengers to be safe.
Daya goes to seat no 32B and finds a dead person. He sends a message back to the other guy asking what does he want. The guy replies saying that he wants a CID officer to come to Vijaynagar and do as told or he would kill one person every 20 minutes
Scene : Bureau
Daya tells Abhijeet and the rest of the team what had happened through video chat.
Abhijeet decides to go to Vijaynagar and asks the rest of the team to keep an eye on him.
Scene : Plane
Daya returns to his seat and looks nervous. The lady notices. Daya notices a flight attendant going towards seat no 32B. He excuses himself saying he's feeling unwell and going to the washroom.
Daya catches the flight attendant and shuts her mouth to prevent her from shouting. Then he shows his badge and tells her what had happened and tells her not to tell anyone to prevent everyone from panicking. He asks her to show him the live footage of the cabin.
Daya watches the footage and asks the killers for more time. The killers refuse time.
The flight attendant gives the names of all passengers who are busy with the phones. Daya sends the list to CID to find their history (kundli 😆) Daya asks her to call another attendant to keep an eye on the footage.
Scene : Deserted road
Abhijeet arrives in style on a bike and finds an empty car waiting for him. There's a phone inside the car which rings and the caller asks Abhijeet to drive the car. Abhijeet drives off. The caller asks Abhijeet to take the car to a particular location and since there is a police checkpost on the way, Abhijeet is asked to ensure that this car is not checked. Abhijeet understands there's something illegal in the car.
Scene : Flight
Daya watches all the passengers.
The convict (who was earlier involved in the brawl) asks the cop to take him to the washroom. Once inside he doesn't come out for a long time. He suddenly opens and tries to kill the cop, but he saves himself. Daya also reaches the spot and captures the convict. Meanwhile all the passengers notice the scuffle. Daya asks them all to be seated. Daya closes the curtain and slaps the convict but he falls dead. Daya and the other cop are shocked. Daya notices an injection mark on the neck and realises that he has been poisoned.
Meanwhile Devika arrives and starts shouting. Daya tells her what's happening. Daya asks the flight attendant to help in hiding the bodies. The passengers wonder what's happening.
Scene : Check post
Abhijeet asks a constable as to what's happening. He says that they have the information that a big drugs consignment is going to be transported. Abhijeet manages to take the car out without being checked.
Scene: Flight
Daya and the other cop watch the footage. The pilot calls for Daya. Daya asks the other cop (Hitesh) to keep watching.
Daya enters the cockpit. The pilot says that they have orders to land the plane asap. While they are discussing, the co-pilot collapses and dies. Daya notices the injection mark on his neck too.
Scene : Road
Abhijeet stops the car and gets off. The 2 men (whom we saw in scene 1) welcome him. They point a gun at him but Abhijeet snatches the gun away and asks them to take the car and leave without trying to act smart. The 2 men leave with the car. Abhijeet calls someone from the team and asks him/her to keep an eye on the white car.
Scene : Flight
The pilot, attendant and Daya discuss and decide that it's better to land the plane. Daya goes inside and informs Hitesh. Daya decides that all passengers' hand luggage has to be checked. Daya informs all the passengers about what's happening and requests everyone to co-operate with the checking. After some resistance from the passengers Daya flashes his badge. The checking begins. One oversmart guy shoots a video of the happenings.
Scene : Bureau
Purvi and Pankaj lose track of the car. Abhijeet asks them to post cops at every road around the area where the signal was lost and capture them.
Scene : Flight
Daya checks everyone's phones to see from whose phone the messages were sent. None of the phones have the messages. Daya concludes that there's another phone which the sender has hidden somewhere.
Daya goes around checking and finally reaches Devika's bag where hears a buzz. He opens it and finds the offending phone with the messages. Daya goes back and announces that Devika is the culprit. Devika denies everything and says that she's being framed. Daya goes back and returns all the phones. The over-enthusiastic boy shows Daya the video he had shot and asks him if he could post it on the social networking site. Daya requests him not to do this but decides to have a look at the video. There he notices someone else putting the offending phone into Devika's bag. The culprit's watch is visible and Daya realises who it is.
Daya catches Hitesh by the collar and slaps him. Hitesh says he's not a cop and that he has released poisonous gas into the plane and explains how he had got it in a duty free shopping bag in a perfume bottle. He adds that he has taken the antidote so he'll be safe. Suddenly the poisonous gas starts filling the plane and everyone starts coughing. Daya locks up Hitesh inside a washroom. The pilot releases the oxygen masks inside the plane but they are not of much use. The pilot is about to lose consciousness and the plane starts shaking. Daya rushes to the cockpit.
The pilot tells Daya to take control of the plane. Daya says he has taken some training in flying but can't handle a commercial flight. The pilot orders Daya to sit down and starts giving instructions. (Come on Daya, you wear a mask too!!! ) The pilot collapses.
Daya is completely lost but being Daya the great he calls the ATC and recives instructions (OMG the writer of this story has read Flight Into Danger by Arthur Hailey. Even the dialogues are the same...disengage auto pilot etc etc...🤣)
Finally Daya lands the plane without wearing a mask even for a second. (The book had more drama, do read it)
He goes inside the cabin and finds everyone unconscious. Daya calls for ambulances and he too falls unconscious.
Scene : Bureau
Abhijeet, Purvi, Freddie and Pankaj watch the news where Daya's heroics are praised. Abhijeet is happy. Daya arrives in the bureau and Abhijeet appreciates his efforts . Abhijeet tells Daya that Hitesh is in custody along with the drugs.
