Vikramaditya Motwane didn't get Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor to do his next film (Shahid replaces Saif in Vikramaditya Motwane's next, August 4)), but he still hasn't got over his dream of casting a real life husband and wife as the lead pair.
So what does he do after casting Shahid Kapoor? Head to Mira Rajput? Yes, that's exactly what he did.
9xe.com has it that the Lootera director has asked Mira to play the female lead.
Now, now, now...was it just a passing statement or does he seriously intend to helm Mira's debut? "Well, Motwane did tell her with a straight face. Mira's possible entry into Bollywood has become the talking point at Phantom Films," said a source.
Mira hasn't reverted yet, though. But what if she comes back to Motwane with an affirmation! Does it get any better than this?
Motwane has been working on this one-of-a-kind project, which will be a take on Bollywood with fictionalised story-lines inspired from real-life personalities.
