After having breakfast she left for the office the time she entered as usual was greeted by everyone the time mukti and Aliya spotted her they pounced on her with their questions after hugging her
"nandini where were you I called you so many times but you didn't picked up?" mukti shooted her with the questions
"yaa nandini you just said jenna that you wont come atleast you should have picked up your phone you know how worried we were?" Aliya said
"girls I'm sorry I was just stuck up with work" nandini said I pleading tone
"yaa what was so important?" mukti asked
How can she tell her that where she was stuck up "uhmm I cant tell you its something really personal" she said as she knew this will stop them from shooting questions
"uhh okay but next time atleast tell us and go" Aliya said
"yaa promise I will"nandini said with a smile
"anyways why did you left from the party you know even manik went and we all were searching for you" mukti bombarded her with another question and she face palmedherself as what excuse she will give them she was lost
"ohh where you lost?" mukti said clicking fingers infront of her
"h-huh?"
"why did you left from party" this time Aliya asked
"ahh actually I was feeling a bit sick so I left" nandini lied sheeplishly
"what you must have informed us are you fine now?" mukti asked in a concerned tone
"yaa I'm perfectly fine" nandini said
"guyzz I may take a leave as I have some work okay see you during lunch" nandini said as she really need to see manik now
"yaa bye" both mukti and Aliya said together
Nandini straightly walked to manik's cabin she entered inside and saw him buzy in his laptop
"manik" she called out his name
"hmm say" he said without looking at her
"manik we need to talk" nandini said
"yaa nandini just give me a minute" he said still not looking at her which really annoyed her to core
"manik its really important" she said in an annoyed tone which made him look at her
"What is it?" he asked her
"uhmm why did you said to harshad that I'm your girlfriend?" she questioned him in an angry tone
"what are you talking about?" he asked as not getting her
"manik did you said to harshad that I'm your girlfriend?" nandini said again but this time in a much calmer tone
"harshad you my girlfriend" he mumbled and then reality struck him
"because she is my girlfriend"
He remembered now what she was talking about as unknowingly she has claimed her as his girlfriend but then whats wrong in that? His heart questioned him
"I'm waiting for your answer?" nandini asked him again as he was lost in his thoughts folding her arms across her chest
"wohh I don't knw how it came out of my mouth" he answered
"you don't know manik you know na what are the consequences of you claiming me your gf?" she yelled at him
"nandini but whats wrong as no one heard it right" he said in an casual tone whick erked her more
"manik how can you be so casual about this?" nandini said angrily
"come on nandini not a big deal" he said and something struckhis mind again "one minute how do you get to know this as far as I remember you were unconscious and I didn't said you as I myself forgot so how did you come to know did that har"" he was cut by her in between
"that's not important how I know" she said not making an eye contact
"ohh now I get it who told you" he said "that bloody harshad" he said grotting his teeth
"manik he told me or not its not important" nandini said as she can see him fuming in anger
"okay I get everything clear now yesterday you went to him that's why you didn't came to office right?" he asked her holding her from shoulders
"manik why are ou behaving like this?" she asked him back
"nandini just answer did you went or not?" he said in a stern tone which scared her
"yes I went there" she said
"what? How can you after all that happened you still went to him seriously and here we were getting tensed for you" he shouted on him
"manik I can go anywhere so please stop behaving like my bf" she said in his same tone which erked him and freed her from him
"don't change the topic why the hell did you went to him?" he again said angrily
"stop this manik you are bossing over me and you know I don't like such things" she said angrily
"really nandini?" he asked in a sarcasm tone
"yes infact not now from many days I'm noticing this your are behaving like my bf when you that very clearly that there's nothing such between us" she said turnind around
"nandini you are taking this from where to where" he said as he was confused
"no manik ssly you very well know that there's no emotion in our this relation still from these days you ask me so many question and I don't like I don't interefere in your matter and I expext the same from you which I cleared to you from the very start of this relation" she said
"what are you trying to don't talk in a puzzle way be clear" he said angrily
"what I want to say is there are emotions getting in our relation so I think we should end it" she said and turned to face him
"what come again?" shocked would be an understatement for him he didn't knew how to react what she said
"I'm telling lets end this anyways before anyone gets to know" she said casually
"what?" he shouted and grabbed her tightly and pinned to the wall "you are saying to end it are you even thinking what you are saying" he said angrily
"manik leave me you are hurting me" she said as her grip was getting more strong on her
"how can you when you know you have become my habbit" he said but this time softly
"that's why I'm telling end this before it goes to far" she said he left her that time
"nandini you are not in your senses that what you are speaking that harshad has really affected you very badly go and think again then we will talk" manik said and turned around as he was unable to bear this shock
"manik I know what I'm speaking and I mean EVERYTHING" she said and with that left the cabin
This really shocked him as soon as she left he took a glass of water and gulped down in one go how can she say that? I know we don't share any emeotional bond but still I don't but there's something different inside me happening whenever I'm with her and here she saying this gawdd' he yelled angrily as nandini's words have really made him angry now and he wasn't able to concenterate on anything else,
On other side nandini came to her cabin and got buzy in her work though even she felt different of manik being close to her but then she chukled that thought as she cant let any kind of emotions form inside her it was almost two hours nandini was buzy in her desings and then she was asked to see the interns designs she went there and was checking it when from no where manik came there and started questioning her
"nandini where's the file which I gave you?" he asked her in a low tone as all interns were present there
"which file are you talking about" she asked him
"I gave you a file to keep it safe" he said (he is talking about the file he has given her in 2nd or 3rd chapter)
"ohh that its in my locker safe in my cabin" she answered
"I need it now" he said
"okay" she said and gave the work to interns and went to her cabin followed by manik
She came to her cabin and opened the safe but the file wasn't there which shocked her
"manik are you sure you haven't taken the file back?" she re-confirmed him
"yes I haven't yet why what happened?" he asked rasing his eyebrows
"manik the file is not here"she said directly
"what its not there what do you mean?" he said angrily
"manik you must have taken it already and forgot" she said again
"nandini I haven't taken it yet from you"he answered her
"manik but the file is not here I think I lost it" she fumbled with words
"what how can you loose do you have any idea it was confidential" he shouted on him angrily "nandini I never expected this irresponsibek behaviour from you"
"manik stop shouting il finad a way" she said
"really how can you as now-a-days your mind is somewhere else only" he said gritting his teeth
"really then why didn't you ket it safe with you are quite responsible right" she said angrily
"yaa exactly that would be better I wouldn't have lost it nandini I don't know anything but you have to get me the file by hook or crook and I want it byvtomorrow" he said a bit calmy but still in an anger tone
"manik you cant order as I'm not your employee we are business partners so show this attitude to someone else"
