manik's eyes bulged out with this question he looked at the bracelet then at cabir in utter shock he was numb by his words were not coming out from his throat even if he want to speak his vocal cords had betrayed him completely he was thinking of a perfect lie to escape from this as if their secret is out to cabir it would be a big problem and moreover manik didn't wanted nandini to be in any problem

"what happened? Say na how come nandini's bracelet is at your place?" cabir shook him by his shoulders and asked

"wohh actually yesterday at party" manik was fumbling with words because how can he say him that while getting intimate he himself removed her bracelet

"when I was going to the parking I saw this bracelet and I picked it up and I found it to be of nandini as I have seen in her hand many a times so I kept it with me" manik cooked up a story and said all in

Nandini came back to her cabin "damn today toh I would have been screwed because of cabir's interrogation ahh I need to talk to manik about this its not right" she self talked

And the rest of the day went in a flew with them buzy in their work luckily cabir didn't further asked any questions to her and she was relaxed about that but she needed to sort this out once and for all

On the other hand in Malhotra Mansion manik was quite restless as it was evening now and still there was no sign of nandini as she said that she will come to see him but yet hasn't arrived. Manik was liking the way nandini cared for him , he liked her being around him always unknown of the fact that was this feeling that was growing inside her it wasn't just an intimate relationship now they were getting more close but it was still time for them to figure it out. Manik was sitting on his bed with his back resting on the restboard of the board and was continuously looking at her phone when the door knob of his room got opened and he smiled

" I was waiting for you" manik said not looking at the person who came

Manik reached office as he was recovered now and moreover he wanted to meet nandini as she didn't came to see him yesterday everyone greeted him his wounds were now better and now he was having only one band-aid on his forehead and knuckles he went to her cabin but she wasn't there he asked her p.a. but even she didn't knew about her whereabouts he was passing by the junior designers hall and stopped abruptly and looked inside and there she was dressed in a red frock and hairs tied in a bun she was telling something or yelling at the juniors about the designs and was looking quite irritated he walked inside and stood beside the door with his hands in his jeans pocket he was observing her expressions and then called her

"you I need the designs today itself in my cabin" nandini ordered to interns and they nodded she then walked towards manik

"yaa I was supposed to but then I'm completely fine so just came over" manik said with his all time famous attitude

"yaa I mean no you know I just cant sit and let my company work I have to look after it" manik said with a smirk he wanted to know the reason but didn't wanted to sound desperate also

"anyways you didn't even picked up my call so where were you?" manik again asked her

"not here come with me to the cabin" nandini said looking around as anybody can come over here

A new day a new beginning but this morning was definitely different for many people as a lot has been in store especially for manik and nandini. Nandini as usual was getting ready to leave for office when her p.a. called her and gave a news to which she didn't paid much heed at that time and left for office

Nandini at her regular time reached fashion house but today there was a lot of hustle bustle and people were gossiping a lot but she didn't paid any attention she was going in her cabin when mukti came running to her

"nandi..inii" mukti said panting heavily as she has ran a marathon
