Butchering the character of Nandini

So today's episode has Nandini plotting with Mukti, Alya and Aryaman to teach a lesson to the new guy Madhyam for breaking Manik's guitar strings.

She even goes to the extent of trapping him in a gunny sack and assisting Mukti in beating him with a hockey stick. Like W*F.

Who is this Nandini?? Has she lost her marbles after losing Manik. This is definitely not the Nandini I fell in love with who would stand against bullies and violent behaviour at all costs. Disappointed.

wow then I am so happy with my decision if this is true.that girl who made a monster into human,she herself is turning into that..btw I didn't watched it.what u have written telling about that...if it's true then Nandini's character is ruining😵

But this 360 degree turn in characterization is difficult to digest. Is this the same girl who testified against Manik when she thought that he might have killed Soha for her??

Manan's love for each other elevated them to higher plane it did not degrade them to baser levels. obviously the writers are too focused on the yaarian than on retaining the essence of Manan.

Had anyone of u hated Manik wen he troubled Nandini like hell? I am sure many of u have cheered for his hotness n attitude. Then why difference wid Nandini? For God's sake, Nandini is only 18. People change in some or other ways. I knew some of u will make such posts n I was right. Come on yaar, she is not a stupid heroine of saas-bahu shows. Has anyone ever bashed Mukti or Aliya for being grey? No. Then why bashing Nandini? Wat u all want dat wen Yuvraj's character be all rude n arrogant wid Nandini then she sud just talk nicely n don't do anything? Dis is not a saas-bahu stupid show but reality. Nandini has to bcum more bold to survive among different people.

First and foremost Nandini of Season 1 was never an abla naari, she stood up for herself and her friends. I mean she bloody punched Manik remember.

Standing up for what is right is not a sign of weakness and Nandini of yore would never put up with beating a person up like that and that to over such a minor quibble.

You see the contradiction, in one scene they want to show us a more mature, jaded, supposedly proactive and aggressive Nandini and in an earlier scene they show the same sweet girl pining for the love of her life and getting his friends together to celebrate his birthday.

It makes no sense because a hopeful, in love Nandini would not react like this. She would still be the girl Manik fell in love with. Were they to show this transformation in her character after she has accepted the fact that Manik is not returning, then it would have still been realistic. Maybe anger and vengeance would have justified her actions to an extent.

Its too early to judge. Season Two has just started 😊
