You should watch CE! Personally one of the best films of Deepika, even better than the ones she is acclaimed for like Piku & Cocktail for me.
Have no idea about PC's accent authenticity too but I just felt she sounded like MK from what I heard of MK. PC fit into the character for me.
Yeah that is what many people said for Deepika's South Indian accent too but since I had no idea I thoroughly enjoyed it! Same for Datto, no idea about the Haryanvi accent but it looked okay to me 😆 People always get offended when the portrayal of their mother tongue cause they are able to spot mistakes better, I'd do it too!
Personally Datto was a more enjoyable character than MK anyways so most of the people enjoyed her better of course.

Kangu!! She sounded pretty much like a Haryanvi. Deepika's was very caricatur-ish. I didn't mind it much since I had fun. But Kangana takes the cake, for sure. She was superb.

Priyanka as Mary Kom! Lovely movie and PC was very, very convincing :)

Oh they weren't offended by Kangana's portrayal per se. In fact, they all said she made a good effort so it wasn't against the actress at all. But the critics calling it oh-so-believable and spot-on and what not is what rubbed them in the wrong way because that wasn't true. Datto was really fun though, I agree. I loved TWMR only because of her!
