I think Meher has closed her heart to the very possibility of reconciling with Abeer. She doesn't want to go down that route at all. Of course, she's in love with him, but having him in her life causes her a lot of stress. She's been down that path before, and it causes her nothing but pain.
She even fools herself into thinking that she's at Groove for only professional reasons. I don't think so. She wanted to stand tall in front of Abeer and prove that she's gotten her own life and identity separate from his. So in a way, she is back to square one- the subject of her original thoughts- Abeer. she is defining her life in two phases- the one with Abeer, and the one after it. But she denies it.
The way she tries to negate the effect he has on her is what makes me think she's in denial.
What Meher keeps saying is that Abeer left her in the middle of the night. She might've even withstood Kuber's allegations, but what ruptured her was the fact that Abeer did not think their relationship was worth saving. Knowing him, he perhaps took the decision rashly and came back penitent the next morning. But Meher wouldn't have any of it- with his abandonment, their relationship was finito. No going back.
I am so eager to see how Meher deals with the resurgence of Abeer's feelings. He'll go all out to woo her and stress her out further. He's like an overactive child who constantly seeks your attention and causes a ruckus to ensure that you take notice exasperatedly.π
