Apparently the other couples are not too happy with the privilege given to Kapoor.


For Nach Baliye 3 contestants Shakti and Shivangi Kapoor, it is a week of anxiety. They bent rules of the show, by not dancing together as Shivangi did not turn up for the show and her baliye had to make do with his choreographer's assistant.

Apparently the other couples are not too happy with the privilege given to Kapoor. A contestant, on condition of anonymity says, "So what if Shivangi had a backache, even we have backaches because of the strenuous rehearsals."

Star One, in the Nach Baliye 2 had not taken kindly to Shweta Tiwari dancing without her baliye. Raja was ailing in hospital with a swollen liver then and Shweta had gone ahead to gyrate to Dhol Bajne Laga with her choreographer. Shweta had to bow out of the show. Sources said, "It was shocking that Star allowed Shakti to dance without Shivangi.

After what happened to Shweta and Raja last year, one thought Star will put its foot down to all couples in this season if they don't perform together."

Anupama Mandloi (Senior Creative Director, Star India) revealed that the channel and the judges took a joint consensus in allowing Shakti to go ahead without Shivangi.
