Guess, you have no idea of how Indian telly industry works, there are a large number of big TV stars waiting to get a chance because chances are very limited, only 4-5 reputable TV channels with 20 odd TV shows. Once you are out of the circuit, it will take years to get a new job in this industry. Many big stars remain almost jobless because of lack of opportunities. Morever, if you get a chance after years, you may be approached for side roles.

I don't need to give examples, both KP and DT are enough for that. They had to wait 5 long years to get another major break despite previously being a part of successful show respectively.
