He strolls down the hallway with a pair of outfit in one hand, a note on the other and two men in uniforms behind him. He walks passes several rooms and could see through the glass in the door, people sleeping in their beds. The ward boy holds his arms, and he shrugs it off in anger.
"I can take care of myself!" he yells at him.
"Shhh!! Everyone is sleeping, stop shouting! This is a-" starts the other guy when he stops and turns around glaring at him.
"Hospital. I know." he speaks each word with utmost annoyance as he crumbles the note.
Looking at his rage, he takes a step backwards and the other guy says,
"Please, keep your voice down and walk a bit faster."
"That's like a good boy. You should learn something from him." said Siddharth smugly with a grin and starts walking again.
As he turned, he didn't miss the glance on the door at his right side where he saw a girl (rather only the eyes of the girl) peeping at him. Their eyes meet just for mere seconds before he leaves.
Meanwhile,
As usual the medicines did no wonders for her; she laid on her bed wide awake just wanting the night to get over as fast as possible. She hated this part of the day the most, it brought back memories which she never wanted to remember again. All she could hear in the stillness of the late hour was the clock ticking by.
She was counting the seconds like she usually did, but today something else caught her attention and she forgot her counts. She could hear footsteps, and she immediately gets up from her bed and tip toes to her door. Through the small rectangular glass on it she saw HIM for the first time.
