Ishq Ka Rang Safed (English: White is the color of Love) is an Indian television drama series that premiered on 10 August 2015 onColors TV. The show portrays the story of a young widow, Dhaani and a boy Viplav who falls in love with her and goes against the orthodox views of society to marry her.[2][3]
Rekha Bhardwaj first sang the theme song for the 2011 album Kabir Chaura Sufi Chaura'. Now, four years later, she re-recorded it, particularly for the makers of the show. The National Film Award winning singer has crooned not one but three different versions - sad, happy and romantic - of the soundtrack. The versions were motivated by the many colours of the show.[4][5]
