The realistic filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is back with a new film, and this time he will focus the life and trials faced by the select few models who are fortunate' enough to appear in Kingfisher's annual fashion calendar. We sure will be treated with some scorching hot visuals, controversial story line and some cleverly masked scandals of the showbiz!
There is no prize for guessing that Madhur's inspiration for this film is none other than the once King Of Good Times, Vijay Mallya! The filmmaker, it seems, got his research done from the business tycoon himself! Madhur, we hear, was thoroughly inspired by the big daddy of flamboyance and his (controversial) relationship with Deepika Padukone, who herself has been a popular face of Kingfisher's calendar.
Well, judging by Bhandarkar's last few movies, we feel that Calendar Girls too will be a tell-all story of this tumultuous profession with the Tamasha star and Mallya in focus! 75 per cent of this movie is based on real incidents. We expect this flick to be dark, intriguing, real and brutally honest! We hold on to our horses as we don't know what's in store for Deepika in this flick!
There is a good chance that Ranveer Singh's girlfriend won't be too happy if the story-line if it exposes some of her best-kept secrets from her past! Will Ms Padukone object to the film's portrayal of her? Well, we will not be least bit surprised if she does.
