Hello all,
Here I am with the update for August 20th's episode.
The episode starts with what was shown in the precap. Vasundhra is in the room and she is talking to herself and blaming Bihaan for getting there at the last minute for saving Thapki. Just then in walks Dhruv asking why she did this and Vasundhra is shocked. Dhruv goes on asking why she didn't tell him the important news and she is trying to come up with something and suddenly Bihaan walks in and he tells Vasundhra to tell him the real reason, Vasundhra looks at him in surprise and then at Dhruv. Bihaan then says that she should tell Dhruv that he took the call and then forgot to tell him. Dhruv and Vasundhra are surprised at this. Bihaan goes on to tell Dhruv that he wanted to tell her but skipped his mind, he apologizes to which Dhruv tells him to not apologize as they're brothers, it was a mistake. Bihaan smiles. Just then Kiran walks in the room and she tells Dhruv to go for the haldi rasm. Dhruv and Kiran leave with Vasundhra and Bihaan still in the room.
Vasundhra turns to Bihaan and asks whether he thinks she's a bad mom and Bihaan says, I regard you like my God, why would I ever think that?! She asks him why he saved Thapki and then pushes him away, she starts throwing punches at his chest and then cries. He finally hugs her and they cry together. He then moves away and tells her that he's a grown man today and till date, she's never hugged him. He promises her that he will solve her problem as he knows there is something going on, he tells her that he saw her on the engagement day and knows that something is wrong. Vasundhra asks him if he really wants to know and Bihaan nods, she says the biggest problem in my life is Thapki. Bihaan gets shocked and says that she really liked her?! Vasundhra says that I only liked her until I found out she stammers. Bihaan is shocked. Vasundhra goes onto saying that I had sent her to the hotel knowing that there was a raid there just to Thapki could be caught but you saved her. Bihaan says that he had no idea, had he known he wouldn't have stepped in between. Vasundhra then tells him everything she did to break the marriage and Bihaan is shocked all that she did. Vasundhra says that you always said that you can't see tears in my eyes, right? Bihaan nods. She then asks you said that you'd give your life for me, right? Bihaan says yes I would gladly do anything for her and she tells him that I want you to promise me to break their marriage.
In the room, Dhruv is getting haldi applied on him by Choti, Badki and Kiran. They're singing songs as well. Everyone applies haldi on him and then Dhruv says that it's time his Dadi applies haldi on him too. Dadi refuses saying that only unmarried or married girls apply haldi on the groom/bride not widows. Dhruv refuses to accept this tradition and says that he can live with anything but not with his Dadi who has always been around and the one who helped him take his first step. Dadi then applies it on him, Dadi tells Dhruv that she doesn't get along with Vasundhra but she has surely given the right values to her kids. Dhruv says I love you to her and she hugs him.
Bihaan asks Vasundhra how he will break the marriage, the engagement has already happened and that Dhruv loves Thapki too. Vasundhra stops him and tells him that Dhruv doesn't love Thapki, but rather just sympathizes with her and everyone has always mistaken it for love. Bihaan is shocked to know this. Vasundhra says that this marriage was only fixed because I wanted it to be, and now I don't want it. Bihaan says that maybe if she asks Dhruv to break it, he will. Vasundhra tells him that Dhruv doesn't ever budge from his decisions, once he's said that he will marry Thapki, he will, no matter who talks to him. Vasundhra starts taking out toys that Dhruv played with from his childhood and says that all the toys work and function properly as she has not let any of them go out of order, if she has kept the toys and clothes with such care, how can she see a stain like that to come in his life.
On the other hand, Thapki's haldi rasm is going on. Her father comes forward and tells her that today he won't cry as he is very happy and satisfied that Thapki will move into this big house where everyone loves and respects her a lot. Thapki smiles and her mother cries in the back.
The scene again moves to Bihaan and Vasundhra's room where Vasundhra the then goes onto saying that he had never read the stories of the moon to Dhruv because even the moon has a stain, then how could she let Thapki come into his life who can't even talk properly. She again asks if Bihaan will break this marriage or not. Bihaan hesitates, Vasundhra sees this and says that if he can't then he should forge that she is a mother to him. Bihaan then promises her that he will break this marriage at any given cost. The episode ends on Bihaan's determined face.
Precap: Bihaan promises that he will break Thapki-Dhruv's marriage, while Dhruv-Thapki are shown staring at each other. The scene shifts to Thapki's house where Thapki's father receives a call from Bihaan's friend who is pretending to being a stranger and he tells Thapki's father that this marriage between Thapki and Dhruv Pandey should not happen at all. He puts the phone on loud speaker and Thapki's family hears this and are shocked.
