oh my... what a difficult question...
ok.. no i can't choose.. have to settle for BOTH i guess... 😆 lol

I guess the question would've been relevant before HBP-- Harry used to get just a bit of a 'motherly' vibe from Hermione--all those times she forced him (and Ron) to do their homework, or to join SPEW, the time she made him give up his Firebolt, etc. etc.

He was best friends with both her and Ron, but it was just a different sort of a friendhsip with each--Ron was his source of 'fun' while Hermione seemed to be the voice of responsibility--more of a mother/elder sister than a friend.

In OOtP, Harry was angry--I mean CAPS lock angry--and he was never really there for his friends. I don't recall where but he snaps at R and H when they're arguing, saying that 'you're always having a go at each other, it's driving me mad!'

But he was there for them in HBP--talking to both Ron and Hermione when they fought, and trying to get them to make up with each other.

So, my point in all of this is: NOW, Harry has enough maturity to treat Ron and Hermione equally--he has the same warm relationship with both--whereas earlier he might have preferred Ron a tiny bit more.

i'll go 4 both ron as well as hermionhe.. no doubt they r his best frends and v all know bout it
