Na, I don't think so. By God's grace, he has seen more successes than failures in his career and 2013 was the only year that really upset that balance. I doubt 'let's watch because this is a Karan Johar movie' was ever the case really.

Commercial aspect aside, I too feel that Dharma has lost the 'soulful touch' it used to have even in its weaker works till We Are Family. The brand is not as big as it used to be because it stopped making the kind of films it was known for.

Kjo is not even the director of these films, he's just the producer. I love he's combo with SRK and him together whether it's MNIK or even kabhi kuch or even kuch kuch hota. He's a good director

The quality is definitely going down the drain. It's not just one little thing multiple factors. Definitely a big one is repeating of actors (SOTY kids) as well as the same cheesy chick flicks - the audience gets bored after a while

KJo has lost his Midas touch!

Too much obsessed with his SOTY kids and too much involved in judging various TV reality shows. Its high time he got back to direction instead of leaving it to others who dont do a good job.

2 States was a superhit

HSKD was a superhit

Baahubali is a blockbuster

I think he should stick to rom coms and family drama, it's what he's best at and he has definitely made his mark on Bollywood so one bad phase won't end his career tbh.
