Hi!

I think DMG is way better than ER & Grey's Anatomy... Comic yet serious... Karan a.k.a Armaan does a 100% better job @ being 'Dr. McDreamy' than Patrick Dempsey ever did (and Armaan's 3000 times more gud lukin lol)

Anyway...

Love, Hope & Best Wishes

I like Greys's Anatomy and even ER. They are great serials. Dill Mill Gaye is great also but it is different, and you can not really compare it with the other two.

ER is really focused on the hospital and the medical stuff. So is Grey's. But Greys is younger and is focused on relationships.

Dill Mill Gaye is not realistic about how things go in a real hospital. For instance Riddima telling that booy that he is diying while everybody was in the room

Dill Mill Gaye is fantastic, great actors and storyline but the focus is on the persons and the lovestory of Armaan and Riddima. That is why you can not compare them.

ER has also focused on relationships in the past between the various doctors or between a doctor and nurse, but it caters to a wider age group than DMG. So it tries to do both, relationships and medical stuff. As for realistic elements, most hospitals do not encounter the violence they feature on ER- it's inflated for the benefit of ratings. DMG is also in a daily half-hour format whereas ER is a weekly show, so their scope is different. Some people may find one more entertaining than the other.

I feel there is a basis for comparison in the common element that, these shows all provide doctors that care about their patients, ones we wish we had in real life but do not. So the shows work to fill a void, but in different ways. They serve to illustrate compassion, love, conflict, grace under pressure. They have been doing this since the time of St. Elsewhere.

i think dmg is a really good show its about time india kinda moved away from the saas bahu dramas but yea i would like to see them be a little more professional and realistic.. i know its not possible for them to take it to the level that hollywood has but still i mean in the show.. the cancer ward is for everyone.. children elders... and its one room... unless im wrong and thas how it really is in india.. and their surgeries should be a little more intense... not just them dabbin at a wound for 10 mins...dont take me wrong im not talkin bad about the show i love it but i mean it should not come second best to these other shows it should be right there at the top...when it comes to being realistic.. alot of the elements in the show are real... they depict some really good stuff..like armaan and riddihmas relationship i love how they focus on that and the comedic part of the show fits in really well.. its not so serious and depressing... but some of it needs some work..

I know what you're saying, but because DMG caters to a younger audience than the other two shows, they purposely don't dwell on the serious topics too much. If they tried to focus on more serious issues, I feel they would lose some of their core audience. I also find the Hollywood shows boring because I am not that interested in the medical aspect of it. In that respect, it could be more like Scrubs. (sorry for all these Hollywood refs)

well i 100% agree wid ur analysis ..its very rational and i respect ur opinion on dis 2...indian shows are usually a lil bit larger dan lyf ..but thnk god dey havent potrayed any such over da top situations in DMG atleast not until now...and hopefully wid da strong script and sensible storyline dis show will hopefully be quite well recd, even in da future..😊
