Brothers Has Decent First Day

Brothers has collected a decent number on day one with collections set to be around 13.50 crore nett. The final collections could come out another 25-50 lakhs higher but even that would leave it short of the second biggest opener of the year ABCD 2. The 13.50 crore nett number is decent but this film needed more than decent figures.

The opening day will not be the best for Akshay Kumar despite it being his biggest film to date. The collections will come in lower than Rowdy Rathore. Even for Siddharth Malhotra it is well short of the Ek Villain opening day.

The film has done well in some places like Rajasthan and East Punjab but this is just due to the presence of Akshay Kumar. Rajasthan will notch up a 1 crore nett total on day one but the performance in CP Berar and CI is comparatively lower compared to Rajasthan. The film has a big holiday on Saturday but needs to grow 75-80% which will be difficult but not impossible as many films lately have seen 50-60% on a normal Saturda

It is low, now if tomorrow can push this film... then it will be HIT, otherwise in Average fare.

Also now Monday will be key factor.

Why the hell Akki do this experimentation, TRAILER Se laga tha ke yes Akki is back, then again in songs he is same jhand like in Baby/Special 26... This isn't his forte... come out of it...

Hope SIB is not again on lines of Baby/Sp26. IT should at least be like Rowdy.

I think Akki is doing another movie with Prabhudeva

Prabhudeva's most movies are masala type

I hope Prabhudeva would give another Wanted or Rowdy Rathore

PrabhuDeva has ruined Action Jackson also, Ajay's Masala... Most Trashed n Shitty film he could ever make... BC Action bhi dhang ka nahi diya... i was feeling ke watching a 70's film in dolby sound with added color efx.

I can only Hope Akki's SINGH IS KINGG kind of success/hype could benefit Singh is Bling or else Akki can't get in game, he will go down from Top 5.

Akshay's role in Special 26 isn't any loser-ish role. It is one of his cherished characters. What's wrong if he does a movie like S 26 anyway? 😕

Films like Special 26, Baby are cherished by a limited set of audience, niche audience, or what u call Pseudo Intellectuals, it isn't Accepted whole scenario if u see, mean Majority wise.

Akki can do those films, but when he does those & add same thing in films which shouldn't have anything 2 do with that art cinema, it spoils audience acceptance.

Like in 1 song of Brother, he is so serious, while Akki is 1 who can make a hall laugh out loud with his cunning smiles n comic 1 liners...

His action, can make whole hall a stadium 2 cheer, now u present him in film like Baby where his entry is even Bigger Silent than Pushpak film... how will audience accept?/

Akki isn't made Big star on doing ART Films, he is BIG n had this position on Masala / entertaining films... u experiment it with audience, u get AVERAGE Result only.
