It was BRUTAL..the way Amma was behaving with Nimmi😡... Is this how you behave with a grown up girl? For that matter, is this the way to behave with your grandchild, no matter what his/her age? Amma looked like Kushiya and her kids were giving her a near heart-attack...I so wish they did, some day...she is getting on my nerves😡... she was screwing Nimmi's ears..bas thappad maarne ki deri thi...instead of admonishing Sarla for behaving in this uncouth way, she was AIDING Sarla! What a horrible family! And she did not waste ONE single minute in blaming Kushiya - teri wajah se yeh sab ho raha hai...kya tujhse dekha nai jaa raha hai ki Amit ki shaadi mein itna kharcha ho raha hai..this and that...Raghav joined in again...
Even Kushiya was punished, since SHE was the one who apparently TAUGHT her kids to do everything possible to disrupt Amitwa's wedding - Amma's theory.
On her part, Nimmi stuck to her guns and did not utter a SINGLE WORD. She bore the taunts, the physical assault (yes, it was assault, no less) only because she wanted her brother's happiness at ANY and EVERY cost. Hats off!👏 It doesnt matter if you have loyal friends or not...ONE sibling like that is enough! 😊
The minute Amma and Sarla left Kushiya and her kids to themselves, warning them not to come out for the remaining ceremonies, Kushiya turned to Nimmi to ask her if she was fine. I feel so sad for her...she is so majboor and all...I do feel a little bit annoyed with her that she doesn't give it back to Amma or Sarla EVER...and that is why her kids too suffer this much...but then a woman gets the strength to stand up to her abusive in-laws if her husband stands by her side...her husbands respects her enough to listen to her point of view...
I'm not saying a woman cant pluck up the courage to stand up to her in-laws all by herself...but then it becomes a case of TOO MANY vs. ONE. Also, financial independence is extremely important ...if a woman doesnt have the monetary power, then she has no choice but to bear the brunt of her in-laws' ill treatment for the sake of her kids...sad, but true...aur yahan toh case bilkul hi ulta hai...Raghav is so busy tending to Sarla and her family, he doesn't have ONE SPARE MINUTE to devote to HIS wife and kids😡 ...I wonder - Raghav and Kushiya...do they ever get the time to TALK to each other? Unless its about the kids, work, Amma, et al? Amma ne bas itni meherbaani ki, ki Raghav aur Kushiya ke beech soti nahin hai...budhiya ka bas chalta toh apne bete ko uski wife ke saath bed tak share karne ka deti...ki kahin dono mein pyaar na badh jaye😡 waise toh she wants her son to think his wife is a good for nothing nincompoop...
But for ALL the flaws in the show and its ABSURD pace...for ALL the tantrums Amma and Sarla throw each single day...and for ALL the things Raghav is guilty of, this show gave us what we had been waiting for so so so long...Shivam and Riya..face to face...😆
Sarla and Pari looked like dulhan ke gharwale free mein paise baant rahe hain...they had their eyes GLUED to the stage...thinking, Riya kab varmala dalegi Amit ke gale pe??😃 I would usually get annoyed with Riya not using her brains even ONCE in this whole shaadi scenario and just drifting off into a fantasyland...but for ONCE, her sharmana and nazrein jhukana served a purpose...it delayed the Jaymala ceremony for those few precious minutes, which turned out to be Shivam's lifeline. Everybody's attention got diverted to the sound of the horse's hooves...
Nimmi, who had rushed downstairs to tell Amma the truth and delay the Jaymala ceremony for a little more time...even tried to tell Raghav about the mix-up in the shaadi...but before she could utter a word, everybody in the wedding went towards the main entrance, from where the sound of the horse's gallop came..
In came Shivam, riding on a white horse (just like in countless fairy tales😉 ) and rode right up to the mandap...Srivastav family which had gathered near the entrance, was BEWILDERED. STUNNED. Man! Shivam looked so GORGO on horseback...mera toh dil baag baag ho gaya
And guess who announced Shivam's arrival? Amma😆 "Yeh toh Sivam hai" she gasped, grinning like a madwoman, as if some mela was going on...
In between, Sarla had sensed Shivam' s arrival was going to take an ugly turn and so went up to the stage and urged Riya to daalo the maala on Amitwa's neck Shivam ka naam sunte hi Riya went, "SHIVAM!" It was as if Shivam ko dekhte aur ITNE DINON BAAD USKA NAAM PUBLICLY SUNTE HI uska dil 10 guna zyada dhadakne laga Aur saath saath hamara bhi
The look on Nimmi and Preeti's face was PRICELESS😛 They just couldn't stop smiling, especially Nimmi, who looked extra cute today😛...as Shivam entered the mandap, both the sisters stood on either side of the entrance, as if ushering him in...like they were ushering in the DULHA...well technically and even romantically, he IS the dulha...but still😉
Sarla looked like she ate earthworms for breakfast...chehra dekhne layak tha!😆
Anyway, much in Bollywood style dulha dulhan came face to face...Man! The way Shivam LOOKS at Riya without saying a word makes me go weak in my knees...and Ekta Kaul was looking very pretty as the bride today...
Then tumbled out all the sawaal jawab...it started with Riya asking Shivam what was happening...On her part, Riya asked all the necessary questions...didnt you see the pic I sent you after the roka happened? What about the address you had written in the office book? What about that time you had come to meet me at my room? Where did you disappear all of a sudden? She asked all the right questions...On his part...he answered each of these answers...when he tried to tell her that while they were talking, up in her room, few people tried to kidnap him...Sarla immediately got off the stage and came to butt her nose...do "damage contro" basically, before it escalates...😡
Anupam and Sahil also intervened and said how they too had been kidnapped...OF COURSE Sarla tried to push it under the carpet saying it was all hogwash...anyway, too many questions were asked...Shivam answered each of them ..although I was disappointed that he did not talk about how his Bua had taken RIYA aside and clearly addressed her as "PRIYA" not once, but 5-6 times...
Also, Sarla had addressed Riya ad PRIYA many times...she had even addressed her as Priya in front of Amma! Toh apne natak ko usne galati batake kalti maar li...I knew she and her pathetic son wont get caught...😡 How could they? They had immunity from Raghav and Amma itself! Toh use koi kya kehta!
Though the pair had been DELIBERATELY misled by Sarla...many, many times...THEY were the ones who turned out to be on the wrong side of the fence...Riya, because she never cared to speak to Shivam personally and clarify...Shivam, because he didnt tell about it to anyone - not his parents, his sister, anybody...
But I was wondering why and HOW Riya didnt talk about the "pati na naam nahin lena hai clause" right there in front of everyone??!! That was v v weird...Sarla ka bhanda wahin phoot jata...also, BUA DADI had heard from someone in the mehendi function that Sarla had tried to smear cowdung on the banner - ON AMIT'S NAME...on the pretext that it was a tradition followed in their family...
Atleast wahan toh Sarla pe doubt hota hi hota...but nothing of that sort would prolly have happened anyway...because Amma and Raghav are wont to believe Sarla and her kids...so even if Bua Dadi would have said something, Amma would've branded her as a liar...and said ki "tu mere se badla lena chah rahi thi naa Laliya"
I wanted to kick Amit so hard when he came off the stage and took Shivam by the collar..and Raghav...that absolute JERK😡 instead of listening to his son patiently...he threatened him he will cut off all ties with him if anything happened to "ghar ki izzat"...
All said and done, it IS Shivam's and Riya's fault to a great extent...because like normal couples they NEEDED to express their love to each other...TALK...be over the moon like all couples are about their marriage...but they did NOTHING...simply assumed ki one is there for the other...Riya assumed she is getting married to Shivam...and the latter assumed Riya was free to wed anyday, anytime and BELIEVED the cock-n-bull Riya-Priya story fed by his Bua😕
It also serves Anupam right ...when Raghav yelled at him, saying he should, as a guardian have atleast spoken to his daughter and clarified everything...there was SO MUCH time to do that...But Anupam...like a naive, trusting fool...did not go for any background check, meet the wud be groom personally or ask his name even...sab kuch assumption pe chala..NO FATHER DOES THAT YAAR!! Atleast HERE Riya could have said that it was Sarla who had asked her to not take her wud-be-hubby's name...which is why she had never uttered Shivam's name...but then WHAT ON EARTH stopped her from WRITING it baba?? Likh ke toh clarify kar sakti thi!
The worst part is Sarla got away with the twin sister theory ...and Pari even tried to shut Sonal up..I know Nimmi will figure it out later..she wont rest so easily...but I know this idiotic Srivastav family will not say a WORD to Sarla😡
But jo bhi ho, when Riya categorically stated she LOVED Shivam, aur woh usse shaadi karna chahti hai...Shivam looked at her with moist eyes...and with so much LOVE in them...my heart was bleeding...no matter how dumb they both acted, and how naive, I was ROOTING FOR THEM every second Karam Rajpal (Shivam) is a CUTIE!! To the power of infinity...he makes my heart race when he looks at Riya all gooey and starry-eyed😊 amazing emoting!! It was as if he finally felt peace in his heart...hearing those words...jaise duniya ki saari khushiyan mil gayi use!! 😛
Needless to say, Amma and Sarla went on and on about "parivaar ki izzat" "kushiya ka kiya dhara hai" "yeh saadi nahin ho sakti " and all...Sarla did it thru too much nautanki, fake rona-dhona...Amma was almost hammering Riya down!😡
Sarla even had the guts to say, "Bhaiyya...agar Riya ki saadi Amit se na hi hogi, toh hum Shivam se bhi uski shaadi nai hone denge" what a bitch😡 Yeh sunne ke baad Raghav ko samajh nai aaya ki KISKO kiski khushi se jalan hai???😡
IT IS SO STRANGE THAT AMMA, DESPITE HAVING SEEN SARLA MOVE AROUND LIKE A RAT DURING ALL THE FUNCTIONS...DID NOT ONCE DOUBT HER! KAISI SI HAI YAAR!😡 I am sure she knows something is fishy...uski nazar se kahan chhupega...but she wont tell RAGHAV about it...she will defend her witchy daughter, come rain, come storm😡waiting for the day Riya will set her right😡
My FAV moment in today's episode was- when Shivam STATED LOUD AND CLEAR "Main bhi Riya se pyaar karta hun aur usse shaadi karna chahta hun" WOW!! 😛 The guy who barely speaks a word bared his soul to the woman he loved...sabke saamne woh bhi...I was clapping and cheering them on!! OF COURSE Raghav, the arsehole he is, slapped his son..Ashok urged him to atleast listen to what Shivam had to say...but Raghav didnt😡 not even once...
and this was AFTER Raghav had the nerve to say - hamare ghar mein sabhi bacchon ko swatantrata di gayi hai...swatantrata my FOOT!! Does he HIMSELF have any swatantrata in his own house? Sab kuch toh uski paagal jaahil gawaar maa ke hisaab se hota hai...I wanted to laugh at this line...cant he see how SCARED his wife and kids are, of him?? How they dont even have the guts to BREATHE freely when he is around...jackass!😡
And one more thing irked me immensely was, when he told Riya the marriage could not take place, since "ek ki khushi ke liye hum doosri ko dukhi nai kar sakte" meaning, for Shivam's happiness, he cannot make Amit unhappy
My foot! I was SO ANGRY😡 Day in and day out his wife works like a maid...cooking for TWO FAMILIES...and doing other household chores...his kids bear the brunt of what his bhanja bhanji do...HIS WIFE listens to so much of verbal abuse, only because Sarla and Amma have no other source of entertainment...and he dares talk about being UNFAIR to one!! He has NEVER BEEN FAIR to his wife or his kids..so all the philosophy he is jhadoing now is of no use!😡
Shame on such men! They dont deserve to be married and have a family!
On a lighter note, the happiest in the crowd were Nimmi and Preeti...who couldnt stop smiling when the lovers confessed to each other..jo akele mein karna chahiye tha...Shivam aur Riya ne sabke saamne kiya...dono paagal hain sach mein...but both are EXTREMELY ADORABLE!
Ab Raghav aur Amma ne mana kar diya shaadi se...and they all turned their heel ...but it seems Shivam will do something at the last minute...he wont let go...dont let go boy! Sabki bolti band karke hi dum lena😆👏
P.S. Rani and her Chachi looked like they got Diwali and Christmas ka bonus Janmashtami ko hi😆😆
Koi kuch bhi keh le, Shivam is a DARK HORSE...He will speak when the need arises..and be strong when its asked of him...am so happy that despite his horrible family bearing down on him like a pack of vultures, he claimed Riya as his own👏 Riya and Shivam will surely bring out the best in each other...and will be each other;s fort..strength😛
I still cannot get over how CUTE Shivam looked...when Riya said she loved him...awww...kuch kehta nai hai but ankhen sab bata deti hain
P.S. I LOVED that Riya understands and identifies Shivam's touch and yes, it was foolish to doubt Shivam's height at the altar, but then why couldn't she have used her brains earlier??😕 Also, she had all the time in the world to blurt the truth - that Sarla had seen her with Shivam and had asked her not to meet him before marriage...these were telltale signs...Sarla would've been caught red-handed...khair, all am happy about is Shivam-Riya are gonna be ONE. Tomorrow. Or day after. Or next week. Kab tak bhagenge😉😆
