Episode 13 Take:I can Drink Even Poison for Ranaji

Mayb I was expecting a bit more from the episode in terms of one RaGa scene and so I felt something was missing in the episode today 🤔 .. I felt few scenes were dragged a bit too much like those two bhabhis debating whether its alcohol or not followed by their never ending talks on how to trap Gayatri in front of her mother 😡 or Gayatri's long walk towards Ranaji after getting drunk but in the end nothing happened as she returns back to her mother ... I dunno what exactly was missing in the episode but mayb too many dragged scenes spoilt the main curiosity for me 🤔 ..

But that does not mean I dint like anything in the episode .. Of course I loved the first scene when Gayatri continues with her chori chori chupke chupke mission to stalk Ranaji 😳 followed by Ranaji's sarcastic taunts to madam Sharmila 😆 ...

So Sharmila had some high expectations from her first meeting with Ranaji but little did she knew that when Ranaji is at his sarcastic best , then even the biggest of British officers r not sparred , then Sharmila kya cheez hai 😉😆😆...Best part about the scene was Ranaji going absolutely silent and giving her a royal ignore when Sharmila asked him to prove how her presense dont affect him , well he proved it to her in royal style by going in total mute mode 🤣...She kept screaming from behind but he just looked so unaffected 😆 .. In the end his Royal walk out from there leaving Sharmila sulking behind was epic 😆 ..

In all this one thing which worries me is Ranaji's certain prejudices towards woman in general 🤔...I dunno if its due to the era the story is set in or is it because of his past .. First he was prejudiced about girls driving cars but we could understand that the reason was related to his first wife's accident ; Today again I saw his prejudiced belief regarding girls asking boys for dance ...errr 🤔... Why cant Sharmila come behind him and ask him for dance or question him about why he dint ask her for a dance .. I dont see anything wrong in what Sharmila asked him especially when she is being told by her parents about their ongoing marriage talks 🤔.. I know Sharmila is not interested in marriage and just wants to hv fun like she told Kokila chachi , but my issue here was Ranaji's certain prejudices towards girls .. Wonder if its got to do with his first wife who was outgoing types and dint give much attention to their married life though he loved her unconditionally 🤔 ... These prejudices of Ranaji might clash with Gayatri in future since we know she is a girl who is much ahead of her times .. Well it will b interesting for sure and I wont mind a Pride and Prejudice kind of clash here 😃

In all this , I got to admire Gayatri's unconditional fangirl mode today 😆😳...She was quite happy seeing how Sharmila got royally snubbed by Ranaji 😆...While Sharmila kept blabbering to Ranaji , we can see how Gayatri's eyes were just glued on Ranaji's reactions and she was really happy and relieved when she saw Ranaji giving him a royal ignore .. Again it matches up with her dreamman who is no playboy but a thorough gentleman 👍🏼...

Now I understand why she hero worships Ranaji .. Its because whenever she sees him , she witnesses something heroic that he does whether its saving her from drowning or solving the tax problem of a soldier's family or today snubbing off a arrogent girl .. No wonder she sees him like a perfect hero and worships him for his qualities that she witnessed so far ... But the day she saw him being prejudiced towards girls driving car , she dint like it and was angry on him too till she saw him in library helping out that soldier and so changed her opinion again ...So moral of the story is right now she really does not know the real Ranaji .. She just saw some of his heroic acts and started worshipping him .. She need to go a long way to actually accept him with his good as well as bad qualities and only then she can become Ranaji's true soulmate 🤔

Same thing holds for Ranaji too .. He has certain prejudices towards women ..And he too will hv to go a long way before he accepts Gayatri with her strengths as well as weaknesses ...

Coming to the drunk scene , so as expected it was a confusion from that waitor's end as he gave the alcohol to wrong person and she consumes it fully thinking its Ranaji's spl drink for her 😆.. I wish Gayatri had used her brains here and guessed it that mayb the drink was for Sharmila and not her since Sharmila was also present there but I guess she was so drowned in Ranaji's charms that she just wanted to assume Ranaji had sent the spl drink for her only just how he has put the rumaal in his coat specially for her ...

Once she gets drunk , she almost got the licence to drool over Ranaji 😆 and I loved how she was giving those seductive desireful looks to Ranaji from the staircase 😆☺️ ; Thank god she actually dint bump into Ranaji in that drunk state though I wish she did 😉😆 ; Like I said I felt the walk towards Ranaji was dragged a bit too much here especially when in the end nothing really happened , but I liked how naturally Drashti did the drunk act here 👏 ; She dint go OTT but behaved exactly how its suppose to be , a little dizzy types and not like a complete drunkard as she had just one glass that time .. Later when those bhabhis make her drink another glass , thats when she completely looses her senses as seen in precap ...I dont get what sadistic pleasure those Bhabhis will get by proving that Gayatri got drunk in the party 😕...

I can relate to Govind seth's extreme reaction in precap since till now he gave all the freedom to his daughter but tomorrow seeing her drunk , he might think how Gayatri misused my given freedom and might feel disappointed ..So the slap was hit of the moment coming from a hurt father I guess 😭..Alos lets not forget era is 1945 when girls from normal families drinking alcohol is parties were considered almost a sin .. so well ...

I somehow wish those two Bhabhis r exposed since they were the ones who made her completely drunk 😡 but I guess they will never b exposed as Gayatri obvoiusly wont remember anything ... Anyways now I fear after this incident Govind Seth will no more give her the freedom that she got till now ,... So if at all her marriage proposal comes from Rajmata , he might just agree to it as he will feel its better to get her married off now ...

I wonder if Gayatri's dialogue when she said "I can drink even poison for Ranaji" was symbolic for future 🤔 .. Her love is touching quite a extreme especially the way she almost gulped down the alcohol for the second time while thinking about Ranaji .. Till now we saw such obsessive love only from male leads .. This is first time I guess we see such extreme in love from a female lead .. so hatss off to CVs for again trying to do something different here 👏👏 ...


Overall I liked certain scenes especially the first one but overall I felt the episode could hv been better if some scenes were not dragged too much and if those bhabhis got some less screentime today especially when main focus should hv been on Gayatri and Ranaji in the party ..

I had no expectations with this party from the start because makers are in no hurry ( I remember ur words saying built the chemistry of RAGa first later show what u like Ekta serial style )I agree no such RAGA some were I feel bit boring these days nothing exciting with leads we see gayathri drooling and bhabhi's irritating few govindji dhamekdhar lines fir thanda.
Infact I am disappointed today thought there will atleast one interaction between them .
But not totally disliked few aspects were cool like rana sharmila face off his ignorance and gayathri drinking for ranaji I liked it but it's half meal to me .
Time spent on showing the show grand and less screen space to ranaji or gayathri only one is shown at a time we hardly saw ranaji this week a piano scene today's 5 minutes .
It's going very slow yaar Jo .

But I agree ranaji seems like having prejudices on women as u said want it to be pride and prejudice type wish gayathri was like Eliza more subtle not drooling puppy .
It will be fun thinking how these cuties fight post marriage one is silent killer and a sarcastic pro the other talkative machine and strong headed innocent lady maza ayega .

Just like gayathri we need is some patience to watch this show .
Few ppl fled the show and watching only weekends because story moves like a snail .

Hope cvs to something to gare up the show and trp ( expecting a 1.1-1.4 this week nothing much happened so this rating is apt I won't be surprised if it's less too but as u said I am not tensed anymore like last week u know to calm me u see with ur experience u convince me that everything will do good )
I feel till Friday they drag the thaapad of bawji that to final scene and one rk pose for weekend.

Drinking the bitter wine symbolize ranaji will serve her bitterness of his past but she will drink it willingly with a smile it might taste bitter at first but later she will win him one day .
The wine directed to her meaning she will be his future wife " kush ya gham mil batenge hum" will be gayathri Moto post marriage she will swim it out .
Drashti and Sid acted so well .
Drashti truly a graceful actress subtle acting while drunk and Sid a level actor .
Both are cool want there scenes more crave for there scenes .
Party is getting over next encounter?

yes fangiri is nice, but I am kinda upset the way they show gayatris charcter, yes she is in her latupan of rana ji, but not a single logical question falls in her head to ask why does the drink taste different, ok, the waiter said its from rana ji, but at least ask what is the drink, really I always ask what is the food or drink, even when my parents ask, i know my parents never would give me anything bad, but certain things i like to avoid and at times my parents give me, so i just ask so that i can be prepared to swallow it (my parents love to give me raw tomato salad and I just cant stomach them, but if i know I have to eat them I will prepare myself with loads of water or juice)

Your review was much better than the episode on whole.

I agree with your pointers .. I m a bit disappointed too with less screenspace to RaGa and more to those bhabhis ka plotting and planning ... I was expecting more drama and RaGa scenes in the party .. so yup thats why I said something was missing in the episode ...

I loved your symbolism about the wine .. yes she will drink all the bitter truth of Ranaji's life silently without any complains and mayb seeing this Ranaji's heart will finally melt for Gayatri 😳

I feel last week trps might b either same or might rise or reduce by 0.1 .. not expecting too much but because last week Mon epi had that drowning scene , so mayb we might see slight rise because of that epi .. lets see

I m fine with Gayatri's daydreaming and drooling over Ranaji but in all this CVs should not forget that Gayatri is a intelligent strong headed girl too .. just dont make her dumb bas ... first time when she drinks it , it was fine .. but second time when she drinks it because bhabhis remind her of Ranaji was not needed at all .. Gayatri should hv refused the second drink as its coming from her bhabhis and not Ranaji and also she knows the drink sounds bitter plus she is feeling dizzy after the drink .. I was expecting Gayatri to use her brains when bhabhis were forcing her to drink ...mayb CVs can tone down her fangirling a bit in such situations 🤔

I know what u mean .. Well I guess CVs want to show Gayatri has blind trust on Ranaji because in the past he saved her life , so she thinks if Ranaji gave this drink to me , then it cannot b wrong even if it tastes bitter ...

I was annoyed when Gayatri drinks it second time because bhabhis manipulated her with Ranaji's name .. thats when she should hv refused it when already she was feeling dizzy ...

Also Gayatri is shown quite young and has been almost immune to coming close to proximity of guys .. so for her Ranaji is almost like first man in her life to whom she feels attracted .. mayb thats one reason why she is shown so extreme with her infatuation as its first time for her ..

Gayatri is getting too obsessive for Ranaji. Nothing much exciting but still i was enjoying the episode, untill last scene Or rather last dialogue by Gayatri. The way DD brought that nasha in her eyes was really commendable.

I was ok with her drinking alcohol for first time but second time she drank it with all difficulty just bcoz Bhabhi pumped her a bit & she drank it like an idiot. I still would have accepted it had she not said that poison dailogue 🤢

Now she is going too far. Everything was ok for me except the last dialogue about poison. Can't get it how a person can get ready to drink poison for a person whom she doesn't even know.

Without even knowing each other we can't call gayatri's infatuation "love". So pissed off with CVs for making Gayatri say that dialogue.

I appreciate CVs for bringing a different concept where female lead is bold and obsessive for hero but atleast they should have given us some reason to believe gayatri's such strong feelings for Ranaji.

The point u raised that Gayatri for once could have thought that ranaji sent the drink for princess, may be since she heard their convo in private n the way Ranaji snubbed princess that thought wont come to her mind. Moreover she is totally lost in Ranaji's dreams, getting some wrong signals, assuming things, so when waiter came n said Ranaji sent it for u, she believed it.

I agree .. because even I was annoyed when she drinks it second time just because Bhabhis took Ranaji's name ... u can fangirl over someone but words like drinking poison for someone whom u dunno personally is taking things a bit too far and I wrote the same in my take too that now its almost looking like an obsession

Though I got to give it to CVs for daring to show that even a female lead can fall obsessively in love with someone as TV is always used to show male leads hving their obsessed love stories but here for a change its the female lead but I hope in the process of showing this obsession , CVs dont make Gayatro look dumb all of a sudden since in past episodes she is shown as a intelligent strong headed girl ...

Mayb tomorrow that slap from her father will make her normal again 😆 .. Anyways she said that poison dialogue in drunk state .. I dont think in real she will do anything like that .. I hope not at least ..
