Dang I voted Salman before I saw that there was a Salman and Varun option... so yeah I choose that

Among the actresses, I actually thought it was going to be Anushka's year but seeing as how BV was the biggest disaster in the history of Indian cinema and how DDD was just an average grosser, she is out of the race now. It's between Kangy and DP now. But I feel that DP has a slight edge over Kangy because of Tamasha and BM. Tamasha seems like a sure hit while BM can go either ways...whatever the outcome, she will most likely get critical acclaim for BM. Kangy's Katti Battidoesn't look that interesting.

Can't decide among the actors yet because it all depends on how Dilwale fares on the box office.

Akshay!!

4 successes in a year hasn't been done since, well since Akshay did it in 2007(Bhool Bhooliya, Namaste London, Welcome, Hey Baby).

This year he has a shot at it again. If PRDP is an ATBB/BB then I give the edge to Salman but it's anything under it then 4 successes are more impressive.

Average verdicts can't be called clean success.

Compare that to Varun who already has 2 clean hits and most likely another huge success Dilwale.

Where as Salman already has ATBB by the looks and PRDP will be BB at least.

This is why I said successes, not Hits. Average + is a success. Brothers looks like a sure shot Blockbuster and SIB should at least be a super-hit being a sequel and all. If Akki manages Blockbuster, Super-hit, Semi-Hit, Average...its his year for me.

But yes you can make an argument for Salman too if PRDP is a blockbuster. Varun I disagree, Badlapur was a small time success(50 odd CR's) & Dilwale will hardly help him being a SRK-Kajol film. He's had a good year, not as good as the other two though,

Salman and Varun both have an equal edge if you ask me.

In actresses, it could go either way. Deepika or Kangana. Depend son outcome of Katti Batti and Tamasha/BM
