Credibility of an Indian Idol

There have been some posts about people not watching II4, well my feelings are not very different.... I think i will still watch the show but certainly the credibility of the winner is questionable based on the last 2 seosons...

It is a shame for India that the winner is driven by a regional bias.... People should not forget that not only is it making someone not as worthy for the title win but also a cause for awkwardness to the winner...

Did anyone see the CNN IBN interview... the host asked amit some question by referring to the past 2 last winners... the host said 'Abhijeet Sawant'... and 'Whoever that guy that won last year'.... He did not even take the second winner's name... i think that was sad and bad on part of the host... Amit then filled in and mentioned the names 'Sandeep' and also talked about 'Karunya'

Even prashant.... i hope the best for him and wish he surprises all of us... but there is a good chance that his fame will also be limited to just a few weeks and then that's it...

Where are the fans and the region's people when it comes to buying their albums.... They cannot just perform for their state right??? What will they do if they dont have any shows for the rest of the world...

Truly a flop show as far as the results are concerned I must say... Either the junta should become more INDIAN or the format should change for the show to have a more fair way of judging the true winner if this show has to be anything credible going forward in the coming years...

no amit did not say the host said.... Infact after that amit took the names 'Sandeep' 'Abhijeet' 'Karunya' and educated the host

They should rename Indian Idol as BATHROOM SINGING IDOL.

ur little mouth has been shut boy, he proved few of u guys wrong. He sang good u can type saying he didnt sing well but u know it that he sang it good. He won and ur fav lost, but i feel sorry for him.

You would never have someone contracting Prashant in any film for singing.

No one accepts a garbage singer like Prashant as a TRUE IDOL

he couldnt prove the whole india wrong .

he never sang well in any gala . India's fav lost because of erratic voting.

everyone listened to his BATHROOM SINGING in the gala. He never sang any song flawlessly . he always had difficulties pronouncing words in hindi.

Last gala he could only trash Himesh ASHIQ BANAYA with his bathroom voice

I think the title should change to Sony's idol because Indian Idol is the one loved by not only Indians but also NRI's.
For instance
Sonu Nigam, who has created a new genre of singing,
Shaan, who has given enormous number of hits in the last couple of years.
Shreya, who won Sare and now is one of the best playback singers of India
Coming to new guys!
Karunya,
who got more popular than the person who outvoted him.
Antara
who got a break singing duet with none other than sonu nigam
Emon
who got offer for playback singing after a few days of his elimination; mind that he's only 18 yet. Think what can he do in his 20's.. 😳 😳 😳
