All the twists and turns after Shivudu rescues Devsena and till Kattapa starts narrating Bahubali's story
Loved Ramya Krishna's character...she brought Shivagami's strong and just nature without going overboard. Very few actresses can do it that well.
I loved the background score of the whole movie...the opening credits, the interval part and towards the end. Such an epic feel!

What I found ok:
The VFX was ok...many points it was obvious. Like when they show the whole Mahishmati kingdom - a bird's eye view to actual street view...the shift it was obvious that the former was VFX
The jungle sequence after Shivudu climbs the waterfall...it was obvious it was VFX.

What I didnt like:
Like whole cringe worthy romance between Shivudu and Avantika. While I understand Bahubali reaching Mahishmati somehow was needed...wish they had thought of something better.
Rana had a really short role which wasnt expected. Even in the war sequence he was hardly there.
The dumb dance sequence after Shivudu lifts Lord Shiva's idol.

Agree with everything except that I cringed at the waterfall romantic song😆

Shivdu and Avantika romance was atrocious..the tattooing/drawing on her hands and then the song🤢

I was so glad when Avantika's part was done

Agree about the VFX too..even when shivdu and avantika are running away from the soldiers..the VFX was bad..the trees seemed to have glass instead of snow/ice

Shivgami was one strong character...and the actress played it well..made a good impact

The war in last half hour was amazing..one of the best parts of the movie..such a grand scale hasn't been shown in an Indian movie before..the whole tactical bit and then Bahubali and Bhallaldeva advancing was amazing

Another bit I loved was kattapa advancing to fight shivdu and mid way realising that he had the same face as bahubali and then sliding to a stop..was a bit corny but came out well on screen

Oh and the endimg with katappa revealing that he killed amarendra bahubali.. Perfect way to create curiosity for part 2

Ditto!!! the movie is simply outstanding, waiting for part 2. Honestly i had no expectations from this film, but it was bloody good👏

I agree with most comments. The whole avantika storyline was the main weakness of the film.

I just want to add I was very impressed with the way Prabhas gave a very different body language to the two characters, shivudu and Baahubali. he really was superb in the movie 👏

Baahubali was awesome!!

Best Things:

-Sivagami's character and it's portrayal by Ramya Krishnan was just mind-blowing! (Loved her in the beginning and in flashback)

-Amarendra Baahubali & Prabhas was just outstanding for taking on 2 different characters and clearly showing the difference in his performance!

-Bhallaladeva is a supervillain.. Hopefully will see more of him in next part.

-Devasena: didn't have much to do in Part 1 but was good in the little portion.. Hope to see more of Baahubali-Devasena love story in the next part!

-Kattappa: another interesting character..

-Waterfall scenes

-War sequence

Didn't really find Shivudu-Avanthika story interesting but I guess they had to do something to bring Shivudu to Mahishmathi.. so can look past it.. Hopefully, not much of them in next part..
