
Shrashty says, "I quit the show because I was mentally harassed. I was promised a a bigger role in the show, but that never turned out to be. I was not treated well by the producer and director of the show. Even when I quit the show, they warned me that I will never get any work offers from the channel that airs this show, henceforth."
She says they did not give her a drop home despite a rule from CINTAA that a female employee should be dropped home if it gets late at night.
However, the writer and producer of the show Dheeraj Sarna says that the actress is only cooking up stories. "There are other women too who are working on the show and they don't have any issues. Shrashty's track was planned for 15 episodes, yet it got extended and she was in the show around 60 episodes. In fact, she had even gone ahead and signed another show, which is against the contract, and did not bother to inform us about it. All this talk of mental harassment is baseless because she never complained to me about it," he adds.
Amit Behl, Joint Secretary and Chairman Dispute Committee of CINTAA, says, "Yes, a complaint has been filed by the actress. We have heard both sides and we are looking into the matter."
