Today begins with the trekkers on their way home. It appears that Meera has been told about the alliance and she is silent.
Vidya and the boys try to assure her that nothing will happen without her say so. Meera is in deep thought and eventually speaks. She says that maybe she has relationships all wrong. She was head over heels in love with Sanskar and even wanted to run off and marry him but he showed his true colours. She appears to accept what is happening. Vidya sends a text.
All in in one room when the text comes through. The message is relayed and Kokila looks pleased but Ahem is not comfortable. Gaura hears the news and bangs away on the tray. She hugs Kokila and encourages the ladies to dance. Gopi joins in but she is a little worried.
The family gather in the communal area and Gaura asks what has happened to the furniture. Kokila explains that it has been sent away to be cleaned.
Vidya, Tolu and Molu arrive. Vidya greets Gaura as do Tolu and Molu. Gaura claims Vidya to be a carbon copy of Gopi. They ask about Meera. Vidya explains that she will be home soon.
A motorcyclist rides in and starts to ride rings around Gaura. The family surprised at first but then start scolding Meera. She ignores them and confronts Gaura, saying that this is who she is and after seeing her does she still want her as a grand daughter in law? Gaura says yes.
Meera is shocked. She tells Gaura that what she sees is what she gets. She has attitude, contempt and arrogance. Gaura smiles and again says yes. She is happy to choose her for her grandson. She tells Meera that they are not so different and if Meera says yes then she will be very happy. Ahem is not happy with Meera's attitude and scolds her but Gaura silences him. She says to Meera to promise that after marriage that she will show her how to ride a motorcycle and tells her that as a young girl she used to drive the tractor. She also tells her that women shouldn't shy away from doing male orientated things.
Kokila is embarrassed by Meera's behaviour and also looks put out that Gaura, despite knowing what Meera is like is still happy to accept her. She tells her that they have told Gaura all about Meera's behaviour and attitude but if she still wishes to go ahead so be it. Meera senses that the family are uncomfortable with events and deliberately tells Gaura that she will meet her grandson.
Pre cap. Gopi assured Meera that there is no need to rush into things, that it is best to wait. Gaura confronts Gopi and asks if what Gopi is saying is a mirror to her true feelings.
